I haven't seen any lights up around town anymore. So sad! I have seen some white lights, but no multi lights! My bro/sil have white lights in the tree's around their patio all year. LOVE driving by there on my way to work on a dark morning to see them on!
Some lights & decorations in the house in the winter sure makes a home seem more cozy!

We went to the Convention Center in Savannah last night to watch Elizabeth compete against other Beta Club members in their special talents. Those talents ranged from dance to juggling while riding a unicycle. It was awesome!
The only issue I had was getting Elizabeth's music to the sound & light guy. Nancy handed me the CD case, I took it to him, he opened it to show me an empty case. She was about to go on stage and the car was 3/4 of a mile away. I ran the whole way to the car (not kidding), and most of the way back to the stage before I lost steam. They allowed her to compete after the act that was supposed to follow her, though, so it worked out. My legs are still cramping from that run, though LOL.
And the rest of the evening, Nancy was watching me for signs of another heart attack. I was just tired! I don't run anymore...unless something's chasing me, anyway.
We'll find out the results of the competition this evening.

I agree with you...once you get the lights and ornaments on it..she will look pretty!
I think the tree will be ok once it decked out, but if I did get the wrong topper, it would be nice to have the right one!!! It just doesn't look quite right!
We have talked about that before but nobody is ready to take that step yet. Seems less personal/cozy. Not as many show up when it's moved to a hall. For now we'll squeeze in a home. LOL! Thankfully my niece has a huge finished out/heated garage. We had it at her house Christmas '16 & it was perfect - with the WHOLE family. Hopefully she will offer again for '18! (and it's right up the road from our house too - bonus!) This past year my brother & family weren't there so that's 16 less people right there - and a few others were missing - it was at my sisters house & it worked well. Good thing we have some peeps in the family with big homes!

Same story in my neighborhood. I'm still enjoying my indoor white lights and my flameless flickering candle, though!
