Happy Pines Day MMC ~
It’s going to be a mild day, sun and clouds with highs near 55 degrees. Looks like a storm will be passing through tomorrow night in to Friday that will bring heavy rain and wind. Not too much going on here today. I need to run to the mall to pick up a couple of things. My youngest will be tagging along so we’re going to grab lunch while we’re out. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs with garlic cheese breadsticks. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day. See you tonight!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Good Friends!
Yep. You read the headline correctly. This is indeed a MILESTONE DAY!

But before we cover that exciting news story, we need to inspect the daily count for a clue as to which Milestone we are talking about.

Days to the Season: 258
Days to Christmas Day: 300

Ah! There it is. That second number.
We have arrived, officially, at the THREE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW!
And tomorrow starts a double-200's level count.
(Mercy me, the year is flying by!)

We had a brief, light rain here yesterday morning and reached 63 for the afternoon high. Today's high will only be 59. Still not bad at all for the end of February.
And we have commenced this last day of the month at 45 degrees here in the capital city.

Folks, this is the final day of February, the fact of which the activites director at the Shispering Pines is acutely aware. He is also well aware that this evening's open house falls on the 300-day Christmas mark. In that regard, there is a theme. Not sure just what it will consist of, but I do know that along the line of "3's ", there will be a special on fired twinkies. Three for the price of one. (Sound like an exceptional value to me!)
Anyway, we hope to see as many of you there this evening as possible.

Until that time, you all have a Wildly Wacky Wonderful Wednesday, OK?

We are starting our house hunting process; Yea!!! Today's a good day to sit with the laptop and scan thru Zillow and Realtor.com, while we are both home to see what's on the market.
It is really enjoyable and interesting. I'm sure most of you know that they can take some really great pictures from on the inside and the outside of each and every place that is for sale, but seeing it for yourself, is the key. And that is what we are going to do.

We have been making a list of places we would like to see, we have a realtor, and so this weekend, we are going out for the first time to look at some houses. It's exciting. I love doing this, for me, I've done this before several times, I'm excited also, but for Jill, this is her first time. I sit here and watch and listen to her, as she is looking for homes on-line, and she gets so involved, she asks me a lot of questions, my gosh, she's so darn cute. I like watching her and seeing the excitement on her face.

We haven't nailed down any specific locations within the state, but we are looking for homes that are more in a rural setting then in suburbia one.

This is fun!
How exciting!! Are you planning on staying in the Milford area?

Good Wednesday morning! It's sunny right now but rain will move in later today. Better rain than snow at this time of year. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift again so I just made some rice and broccoli with general tao tofu. Just another work day. Hope everyone will enjoy a great one!

Merry Milestone & Pines Day!!! I smiled today as I changed my countdown chalk board to 300 - thinking how tomorrow I get to change it to the 200's! Crazy!! Seems like just yesterday I wrote 364 on there! ;)

Not much going on today. Just work. Tonight I'm going out with my high school friends for Mexican food. That's about it!! I'll swing by the Pines after!! :D

Have a great day MMC!

Well, another night coming to a close and tomorrow will bring with it, the last day in February.
I’m betting on March will be a whopper of a month, in regards to the weather.

I’m going make myself a cup of Earl Grey, before I’m off to bed. Have a good night everyone.
I have a feeling March is going to do what it has done the past couple years - in like a lamb, out like a lion!!

Morning MMC. Happy Last Day of February! Winter sure has gone fast this year. Looks like we should have a nice day here today. Yesterday was nice as well. Very rare but today it took my 2nd alarm to wake me up. I pressed the 1st one and went back to sleep without realizing it. Guess I was tired. Time to push forward through Mid-Week. Enjoy the last day of Feb!
Enjoy the nice weather & the last day of February! Calling for rain here today - we shall see!
Have a good Pines day!

Happy Milestone and Pines Day, MMC!!! I’m just sitting st the Dr’s office waiting on mom’s appointment to get done. They are only running 45 minutes behind today. Yay!! Lol!! The rain we were supposed to get never materialized so im hoping to get out and enjoy the sun this afternoon. I hope everyone has a great day!!

Good Wednesday afternoon, Christmas friends!

I've been down a couple days with bronchitis, but I'm feeling better now, and should be back to work tomorrow. That's a pain!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

So...I’m eating at the Employee Appreciation Luncheon and there’s a piano player. All of a sudden I hear “We’re Walking In The Air” from the Snowman! Yesssssss!!

Well, what to say, it has been a crazy morning here, the wife had me up most of the am hours, she was not feeling well again, tossing and turning in bed, up and down and then all of a sudden around 6am she's throwing up in the bathroom. I know she felt awful, poor thing, she called out of work again. I myself was so tired, I called out of work also, so I could rest (I would of have been useless sitting in front of a computer screen all day; give it an hour or two, and I would of been asleep at my desk) and to also be here with her in case she needed me.

I don't know what it is this year, she's a middle school teacher, and of course, she is subject to every germ, in that icky breeding ground within the school. And she catches it no matter how much sanitizer she uses and how many times she washes her hands. She was doing so much of that, that her hands were starting to get red, crack and irritated. She missed 3 days last week being sick.

I'm not feeling myself now, my throat is getting sore, have pains in my belly and I do not feel like myself overall. This, more than anything else in the winter is what I do not like, sicknesses! They always seem to be more prominent in the winter months than in the summer months.

Well, what to do, other than just try to rest.

Hope you both feel better soon
