I will have to look up Irish Soda Bread. Maybe that's what I should bake tonight??? Hmmm... (I've been thinking about making a couple loaves of homemade bread anyway)

I've read that the real Irish soda bread is made only with flour, baking soda, salt, and buttermilk. That's what I'm looking for. I saved a couple of recipes from online to try. This one explains it pretty well. I'm not much of a baker, but it sounds simple enough even for me to tackle!
That's quite an accomplishment to have such big debts (mortgage and car) over and done with. We just finished payments on our car two weeks ago as well. And being debt-free is always such a relief.
Father Ted. The “Kick Bishop Brennan Up The Arse” episode is one of the funniest shows ever aired anywhere. LOL just thinking about it.

Good morning MMC! TGIF!!! This week seems like it took a month. LOL!!
Does anybody have big plans for the weekend? My hubby has to run the Louisville route tonight. I'm not thrilled about that. He hasn't done the overnight route for years! Hopefully he's able to get some sleep late this afternoon/early evening! xx Tomorrow we are going to the lake! Some of our neighbors are coming up. Our friend is playing at the bar just up the road from our trailers & it's a St. Patty's Day party. I better find something green!
Today it's 3 years since Dad passed away, & tomorrow is 6 years since my brother passed away. Couple of sad days, but time to celebrate their lives! ♥
Today we have bright sunshine with a high of 40 predicted. BUT I keep getting ICE warnings for tomorrow morning. UGH! Hopefully my hubby doesn't run into any of that! By Sunday it's supposed to be sunny & 52! Crazy weather!

Researching prices today. Most of the stuff in the store is on sale yet, but in one more week, I pull everything that hasn't sold and slowly replace with different stock. Going to be a busy time what with hauling stuff back and forth and cleaning. No time like spring to do it, though!

I've spent half my morning trying to sell & collect money for spaghetti plates that our church is selling to support our area cancer patient support charity. I wound up having to buy 4 plates for myself to finish up my ticket book, but it's a great cause.
Nancy and I are going to mom's tonight to keep my brother's daughter, so she can go out to dinner with her friends. She could really use a break!

Morning MMC. Happy St. Patrick's Day and Happy Birthday #2 to Rollins! Hope you are all doing well this weekend. A sunny morning here but brisk and cold. Feels like November out there kind of. Reminds me of the holiday season. Just going to get Rollins a few toys for his birthday and cake along with some other normal errands I have. I hope you all enjoy your start to the weekend!
