Good morning. How did the calendar turn back to Monday so soon??
Alexa told me this morning that this is the last full day of winter & it's time to put my snowmen away. LOL! How did she know I still have my snowmen up?? :p :D
It was a sad weekend around here. We lost a truly great guy in a car accident. 40 years old, father to 3, teacher at an alternative school who was really having an influence on these troubled kids. So, so sad! :( Despite that terrible news the rest of the weekend was nice - spent with friends. We had a UPS retirement party yesterday. The weekend just goes too fast!
Mom fell yesterday, but thankfully she's fine! What a weekend!
I hope you all had a Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend!

So sorry for your loss Holiday, that is heartbreaking.
Thank God mom is okay. Sending hugs <3

Oh geez, that would get a persons heartrate up just a tad. I’m sure glad you found her.
YES!!! Obviously we will be getting a new lead AND hopefully we can get her trained to the electric fence this summer. Gracie did so well with that! It was a horrible feeling!!!

“What kind of summer will it be MMC friends?”

CINDY DAY, Chief Meteorologist with our local Halifax Herald paper, and SaltWire Network, says that her Grandma had theory. Grandma watched the wind direction at the precise time of the Spring equinox. Don't forget that is tomorrow. She believed it pointed to the type of summer we could expect.

Here’s how: "A south wind meant the summer would be warm. If the wind was from the north it would be colder than average. An east wind would bring lots of damp or wet weather, and a west wind promised a dry season. If the wind was light, less than 5 km/h at the precise time of the equinox, the wind direction could be considered variable and not a good indicator."

Spring arrives at 12:14 Eastern tomorrow, so just for fun I am going to give this a try. Ha ha...
Interesting!! Please keep us posted!!!

I forgot to mention - yesterday morning at the lake, I put Lucy outside on her lead. I went back in the trailer for probably 10 minutes or so, I walked back outside & Lucy was GONE!!! Her lead broke! FREAK OUT!!!:eek: I woke Jim & he took off one direction I took off the other. Our neighbors were doing some work outside - they said they had just seen her - they thought we had just let her outside, loose - so they were looking for her too. THANKFULLY they found her under the neighbors (Jackson, her boyfriend) awning. It only took about 5-10 minutes to find her, but it seemed like 10 hours. She nearly gave her mama a heart attack.

Oh my goodness Holiday, I’m so happy to hear that you found her xoxo

The Ariel and Shiloh are relaxing and enjoying the day. Me, i’m doing laundry, new home stuff with the lender, inspections and realtor and then later, running errands.

That’s a heated blanket that they are laying on, I think they are getting spoiled rotten!!!
Oh gosh. They are adorable!!!
I'm devastated my boss' step son has had a cat for 13 years. He got married a couple years ago & his wife has been allergic to the cat. She's more allergic when she's pregnant - and she's pregnant. Really struggling! They can't find a home for it so they are planning to put her down! Breaks my heart. I couldn't do it!

Good Afternoin MMC !

It’s been way too long and I miss you all!
Computer finally just gave up and died, no fixing it this time. I am now accessing through my phone. This way is a bit more work and takes longer but I can at least get here again !
Not working as cashier anymore. Now I get to look after a cute 6 year old.
Beautiful sunny day here and chilly.
Tomorrow is SPRING !
Hope you all have a great day !
Nice to see you CS!! I hope things are going well for you & your 6 year old companion!! Enjoy your sunny day!!!

Thanks HMG! Such a freak accident!
Yes, I'm glad mom is ok too. She was fine this morning - no effects from her fall. But she did wind up with a skin tear on her wrist, so her wrist is all wrapped up. Minor detail!

Oh my goodness Holiday, I’m so happy to hear that you found her xoxo
You and me both!!! Little stinker - she was having a blast running around!!!

It's scary every time Lulu runs away from me after a cat or a squirrel. I'm glad everything worked out!

Kids are like hour hands on a clock. No matter how close you look, you can't see the hour hand change position. But step away for a while and look again, the change is apparent!

The Opera Part xixvixx

Act I:

Opens to the blank stage. Carl the Camel enters and is seen dispensing his famous mocha blueberry almond orange extract blend along with a few fired twinkies . He hums the classic 1980s tune” 867 5309 Jenny”.

End Act 1

Act II: Opens with Jayish dancing a paus du lux entitled “ Ain’t no Sunshine in My Life”. Ballcoach, Minta, and Auntie enter and sing the aria “ Never heard of Jose Feliciano ehh Jersey Boy”.. Meceka, Novaman and Snowflake Mom announce via an aria that the Sun will now stay out longer and at 2:00AM everyone will celebrate the hour of eternal sun and more time to do yardwork…. Jayish dances a paus du lux entitled “ My tights.. are tight..”

End Act 2

Act III
Opens with the village excited about the prospect of longer sunlight. Edge announces via an aria that the festival will proceed regardless of the lack of tv coverage due to incessant basketball being played. Then, high on a mountain in the background ( beneath a flickering Toys R us Sign..”) Crown appears and using their magical powers announces that there will not be expanded daylight as it reduces the potential for sleeping extra hours. Then, using their forceful powers, they banish Jayish, Xmas tidings,Made, and Brad into the plastic cylinder and orders them held until everyone agrees that darkness must triumph. Jayish is seen dancing a paus du lux entitled “Lava Lamp”. Crown is seen setting back a clock by 6 hours and rubbing their hands together singing the commercial aria “ Mattress Discounters”.

End Act 3

Act IV ( finale) Opens with Homemakin Girl singing the Aria..” Ode to marshmellow peeps . Crown emerges from a slumber and promotes Homemakin Girl as Chancellor due to peeps being soft and suitable for slumber. Iteachpercussion, Martine, and Holiday then launch a scheme to free the cylinder occupants. They send a note to Crown via an aria -offering to sacrifice a pair of Jayish’s tights to the Gods in exchange for the hour of sleep back in the fall. Crown falls for the ploy and in one of the moving moments ever in operatic History, Binger pours them a cup of coffee- elevates it over their head and via an aria announces that the festival of sunlight will commence along with a tribute to Starbucks and Abigail Folger. The entire company comes together and sings the aria “ Let the Sun shine In….” Crown is seen sleeping on a giant peep in the plastic cylinder.
