Part II of the first weekend of spring.

That's right. I said TOMORROW.
We will have completed the entire first 1/4 of our Christmas Day count.
And that in turn will place us near the threshold of back-to-back binary Milestone markers, the identities of which will knock your Christmas socks off.

Our weather? Cold and rainy the entire day yesterday.
Today? More cold, but less rain.
We have commenced things here in central NC at 40 degrees.

Good morning, gang. Hope all is well in your part of the world. Things are going well here. Had a little scare last night, but we are fine. Bambina was sitting on the counter while I was cooking. I turn to stir some food and she falls off, backwards, and lands flush on her back and head. SCARED THE BEJEZUS out of me! We went to an urgent care to have her checked and they said if it was a couch or bed, they wouldn't sweat it....but since it was a counter top, she needed a CATSCAN. They looked her over, came in, and said all clear...

WHEW.

Needless to say, I got lectured on the way home by Doc for letting her sit on the countertop and play (rightfully so). I just sit there and nodded my head and said I know, I know.

Y'all, talk about grateful...whew. Good news is that I have some ribs cooked and ready to eat...so I don't have to cook supper tonight. Bad news is I am sure that I could have gone out to eat 20 times for what we paid for the cat scan. That's ok, I would pay as much money as I could for peace of mind and knowing our little girls is ok.

Well, another weekend is coming to a close. Wow, did that one sure feel like a short one. I think we need another day!!!!

Morning MMC. The last week of March is here. Easter is Sunday and so is April. This month has seemed to fly by. Luckily we have 1 week left in it. Luckily spring weather is coming slowly but surely here. And we have baseball season starting this week too. Have a great last Monday of March!

Merry Monday MMC!
It’s going to be mostly sunny with highs near 45, we’re currently at 30 degrees. Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores for me. My husband is feeling a bit better after spending the weekend resting in bed, he’ll be heading back to work today. I plan on making a big pot of chicken soup for dinner. I also need to look over my Easter menu again and make sure I’m not forgetting anything. Can’t believe we’re less than a week away. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!

Our current one is the ONE QUARTER point to Christmas Day. Tomorrow, we enter the SECOND quarter of our Day count, with the next stop being half time!
(Moving right along, we are.)

The next pair of markers, the dual, binary ones I have spoken of the last couple of days, will be presented tomorrow. (Better get ready for a shock!)

Well, still the quite chilly and damp weather. The kind of weather that sickens the healthy and makes the already sick worse. Best to stay indoors if you can.
But that should be a memory after tomorrow as we are predicted to climb into the 70's.
Whew!
Our current temp is a still-cold 35 degrees. here.

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

Jim's wife had a great weekend! The doctors had been regularly reducing her sedation and trying to get her off the ventilator by turning it off so her body could try to breath, but it hasn't worked...until the wee hours of Sunday morning. Now the ventilator has been removed from her room, she's somewhat conscious, and there's talk of moving her from ICU to a regular room. Awesome! Thanks to you, Lord!

I didn't really get anything done, other than some cleaning around the house with Nancy.

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day!

Wow!! So scary glad she is ok...don't beat yourself up over it..accidents happen! My youngest daughter toppled down the stairs when she was a year old, the gate was not all the way closed and I felt terrible. Luckily she was fine.

Good morning MMC! It sure is Monday, isn't it!! Wow it's chilly out there. The wind here is ridiculous!! But at least the sun looks nice!

I had quite the weekend with mama - she was a handful!! I came in to work late today to go help the lady who stayed overnight with her. What a piece of work mom can be! I love her to pieces, so glad she's here, so glad we can help, but I don't feel like I had a weekend! She can be stressful!!! LOL! Bless her heart! She doesn't mean to be! Good thing it's a 3 day'r weekend coming up. My sister even gave me a couple hour break on Saturday - I went home & took a shower & watched our HS Bball team win state. WOW was that an exciting game!!! We were not predicted to win, but we won by 1 point. (in double OT) WOW! That's all I can say. Hard fought, good game! You all could probably hear me screaming at the tv from your homes. LOL!!

We got zero snow - we went from 5-8" predicted to zero. LOL! Did you all have a good weekend???

Good afternoon .. back to work today and although it's been a very short work week for me it's still TGIF Snow is really melting at a fast clip I doubt there will be any left by the end of the weekend. Debating if I want to start working on revamping my Christmas notebook tonight or wait until tomorrow and read my Christmas novel tonight that I picked up yesterday Such decisions LOL. Hope everyone has a great Friday!
