Such great news that your SIL is more alert!!! Continued prayers every day gets better!! xxGood Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!
Still coughing and sneezing, but Ill get over it.
Mom wants to go visit Jim's wife this afternoon, but I'm not sure I should. I'm pretty sure it's just allergies, but if it's something else...I guess we'll see how I feel later today. She's more alert now, but she still can't talk because of the tracheotomy. I assume they'll do a procedure soon to close that.
Anyway, I hope y'all have a great Pinesday!![]()
What a beautiful girl. That was awesome of you to keep her safe & try to find her owner. I hope the owner is found! xxGood morning, all. Our excitement last night - I was in my family room and noticed that my outside lights had automatically come on. Then I noticed a strange dog standing at my doorwall looking in at me. After securing my dogs, I went outside to meet her. A lost pit bull with a collar but no tags. I posted online and took her for a walk hoping to find someone looking for her. No dice. As I am already up to the gills with animals and I was unwilling to let her leave, I called animal control and turned her over to our city’s shelter.
This morning, I’m posting online. Appreciate all prayers that the owner is found before she goes to the Humane Society! She is so sweet! Very affectionate!

Enjoy the pizza tonight. I'm ready for some warmer weather too! xxHappy Pines Day!! I looked at the long term forecast and looks as if April may have lower than expected temps...ugh!! I am ready for spring and warmer weather. Just have my regular work day today and my husband and her youngest daughter need to go to an eval for softball so I think my oldest daughter and I are going out for pizza.
Hope you all have a great day!
Enjoy your day!!! I'm having soup for lunch today too!Good Wednesday morning! It's going to be a rainy, dreary day, but much warmer than usual. At least more of the snow will melt. I'll be making some soup to take to work, to go with the weather, as I'm working the afternoon/evening shift. Wishing everyone a great day!
I haven't tried that. Maybe I'll run by Walgreens when I go to lunch, thanks!Have you tried this:

Ever since my doctor started prescribing this for me, it worked wonders on me. Now-a-days, you can buy this over the counter. I use it all the time. Trust me, it does really work.
Continued prayers for you SIL, that her healing is swift and that soon she will be able to do all the things that she previously did.
Too funny! Lots of truth to that too.
Thank you, Ace Reporter Auntie....Well, I had a few errands to run yesterday and today that took me to different parts of the city. I'm happy to report there are still signs of Christmas.
Sorry Crown no photos.
In different yards, porches, rooftops, trees and eaves - the signs are still here.
I spotted inflatable snowmen and rooftop Santas and reindeer that were not inflated, but still had the appearance of what they were.
Blow mold snowmen and Santa
Lights wrapped around walkway lamps
Lights on evergreens
Festive mailboxes with winter scenes, cardinals and warm glowy home image
Wooden painted Santa - looked homemade
Today it was down near the old beach where I once took Elf Edwin Noel to explore a piece of our heritage and the other spot was near the ski hill (yesterday).
And to top it off, when I got back into the car from grabbing groceries, Baby It's Cold Outside was playing on the MP3 in my husband's car (mine was being serviced for regular maintenance; changing oil, etc.).
I couldn't wait to run back here and tell you about my merry discoveries.
Now it's rainy with a mix of melting snow - spring is coming and I'm delighted for the merry little surprises I saw today.
Stay jolly!
