Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I hope everyone had a great time at the Pines last night. I was too zonked out to make it this week, but watch out next week!

It was in the upper 30's this morning...what a nice surprise! It's going to stay in the upper 70's - low 80's for a couple weeks, so a crisp morning was welcome.

In 1995, I think it was, opening day at Fenway was postponed because of snow. That was a rough winter, and another year it took forever for spring to take hold.

Watch, it will go from this kind of weather, to 80 degrees, in a matter of a snap of a finger. Then we will all be scratching our heads wondering what ever became of spring?

Yesterday, I went over to the house for another home inspection in the morning, this was before the wind and colder temperatures came into the area. It was kinda dreary, a little foggy, patchy drizzle and I'm telling you, I saw a mosquito flying around on the front porch!!! I thought to myself, Oh boy, they are going to be really hungry when the weather starts to get warmer and they will be eating us up alive every time we step foot outside.

Not much up today besides work. We have SUNSHINE today!! But we better not get use to it! Water is on at the lake, just in time for it to get down into the 20's tomorrow & Saturday nights! Come on spring!!

Wow, it is windy and cold out here, especially by the bay which is where I was earlier this afternoon. Didn't find anything for the store which was a bit of a bummer, but there are a couple of more places to check this week as there's an estate sale starting Friday and the first rummage sale of the season is then too. Hopefully, it will be far warmer out!

My goodness, is the wind ever blowing outside tonight. It sounds like something is howling outside during the gusts. I'll tell you another thing, I can sure feel the temperature drop with that wind.

I gotta laugh, I just saw a weather posting from Justin Berk and get this, the computer models are saying that it may snow on Saturday again in the mid-Atlantic/ New England areas. Isn't that something! I just cannot remember the last time I saw any accumulating snow in April.

I sure wish my grandfather was still here to see it, he passed in October 2016 at age 98. This year, he would of been 100 years old. I'd love to sit there and listen to his stories, history, etc... He could say things like, "I remember when we had this heavy, wet Easter snow back in 1949, and you grandmother....."! Lol, I miss hearing that with all my heart, but I will always treasure the memories and his stories.

The wind here was crazy Tuesday night & all day yesterday. Blow you all over the road kind of wind! Our UPS driver was in this morning - said he nearly snapped his wrist trying to hold on to the wheel yesterday!

Good Thursday morning! By the time I finished work yesterday it was so windy that even driving my car was a struggle at times. With those winds, temperatures dropped down dramatically and it's now -19°C (-2°F) with the windchill factor. This extreme cold should last only one day. Other than laundry and chores today on my day off, I have acouple of things I need to get to properly take care of my left forearm following my physio appointment. I need to get a heating pad, an arm band and a stress ball. I can barely squeeze a stress ball with my left arm. It's about time I started physio. Hope everyone enjoys a great day!

Morning MMC. The winter that never ends continues. It's freezing outside and windy. Feels like some January or February morning. Other than the weather just starting to look forward towards the weekend ahead. Hoping to make it a low-key weekend ahead. Have a great day!

It’s going to be partly cloudy today with a high of 47, we’re currently at 34 degrees.
Not too much going on here today, I’ll just be working on some chores around the house.
My daughter and her fiancé found an apartment that they love, its hard to believe she'll be moving out in a couple of weeks. They’re excited and will be doing some furniture shopping tonight. The wedding will be here before I know it. I wish time would slow down!

Good morning MMC! It is so cold out there today definitely feels like a winter morning. My SIL called me last night and she was diagnosed with the flu, she was at out house on Easter. I hope no one else gets it...I am going to boost everyone's Vit C and hope for the best. Her Dr. gave her Tamiflu so hopefully she will feel better sooner.
Not too much planned for tonight just catching up on laundry and looking forward to a quiet weekend, we don't have any real plans.

We see snow quite often in April, but usually not these cold, cold temps so many days in a row!!!! Usually we get some teaser days!! But as I always say...if it's going to be cold, let it snow!! (but it's time for warm!)
