Happy Thursday friends!
Not too much going on here today, I woke up with a headache so I’m moving kind of slow. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky right now. I’m going to make a Target run later with my oldest to do some more shopping for her apartment. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be a mozzarella stuffed meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

If any of you are like me, you still have some Christmas candy left over. Well today I'll eat the licorice Allsorts that I received as a gift.
Yes, that is correct, it's NATIONAL LICORICE DAY!!
National Licorice Day is observed each year on April 12, so they tell me.

Our 70's is supposed to hit this weekend and then Sunday will be down to 39..crazt weather but we are headed to FL on Monday and the temps have been in the 80's.

I've heard that, when you make a grilled cheese sandwich, if you spread mayo on the outside of your sandwich instead of butter, it browns beautifully (and doesn't taste like mayo, BTW). Someday I'm going to try that.

They just had that on Kathy Lee & Hoda this morning. They used mayo & then put parmesan cheese on top of the mayo & grilled it parm/mayo side down. I've never tried it either.

Well temps are finally at normal levels for our area and are suppose to warmer then normal tomorrow and Saturday (pushing 80). First yard work of the year will be done tomorrow evening and Saturday. Can't wait to open the windows to air out the house.

We have a local contractor coming out tonight to do a site survey for the solar panels we are getting. We are going with ground mounts instead of having them on the roof. Our property is pretty big so we have the space to do ground mounts without them being in the way.

I opened a couple windows at lunch. It was starting to smell like spring in the house. LOVE that smell!!
