Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday! Another chilly day!! Wasn't it just 80º Friday??? Crazy weather!!

Not much going on today. Just work. Tonight our neighbor is having ladies over for wine & snacks. She did this last year too. I'm just not sure I'm "feeling it" today. I really just want to go home & chill out! LOL! I'm sure I'll go for awhile though! It was a fun time last year!

I made some of Emma's cheesy veg soup last night. (one of my favorites!!) I also bought some "homemade" garlic bread from the deli at the store, which I decided not to bake last night cuz the hubby got home so late. That will be supper tonight. YUM!

I noticed there are quite a few Christmas episodes on TV this afternoon!!

Thanks! We have a little "Amish Drama" going on!! We don't have caregivers for next week, but I think we've got her all covered!! Whew!

He was only an hour and fifteen minutes behind at 10:00 am!! That’s almost like being on time for them. Lol!!

Morning MMC. Had a good 3 day weekend and woke up feeling fine today. Now off to work for a shorter week than usual. Oh yeah and don't forget today is Uncle Sam's Day so hopefully everyone took care of that business. Now on to Tuesday...a cooler day out but no floods or winds like yesterday. Have a good day!

Taxes have been all taken care of! Have a good Uncle Sam's Day!!

Merry Tuesday MMC ~
It’s going to be cloudy today with highs near 49 degrees, chance of showers. Just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes before I get started on breakfast. I already straightened up the house and started laundry. I need to do some food shopping later this morning. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. My mother is stopping by to visit later afternoon. I’m making tacos for dinner. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good morning dear friends. Wow, what a difference 24 hours make. It’s beautiful outside, the little tweety birds are carrying on out there, suns shining, it’s a bit chilly but what a difference from yesterday. Yesterday, it rained so hard, for so long, I’m telling ya, I was beginning to think that I may have to start building an ark!

Well, with this week, we are truly into the meat of the month of April. I think winter, at least around these parts, has given it all she had and is now done with. The next 7 days here, are supposed to be averaging in the 50-60 degree range overall, which will make a lot of people happy.

Good afternoon .. I am starting to think to that Mother nature is Playing darts when it comes to the weather. What ever the dart lands on is what we get. Very chilly and over cast today after all that the rain and thunderstorms yesterday. I am itching for the weather to get a bit warmer (warm enough where I don't need the heater but still cool enough where I don't need the AC) and stay like that for a while. I got some projects at home I want to do

That's a lot of snow anytime, but the middle of April???

It keeps getting better. They revised our total to 22 inches.

The April part made me take a sledgehammer and shear the ice off of the downspout, so the gutters will drain properly. I have an ice block graveyard on the pavement, again.

That having been said, fear not! We shall not be buried in frozen white stuff much longer. We have a string of 50s & 60s high temperatures starting this weekend.

But wait! We are ALREADY down now to single digits to the 1/3 Christmas Day point, only 9 days away!
(Merciful heavens. These markers are starting to get away from us.)

Well, the chilly weather is back. It was quite cool yesterday (I did not see it get out of the 50's all day) and this morning has commenced at a cold 37 degrees with another cool high predicted for this afternoon.
But then, Mother Nature has promised to relent and return warm weather to us again for tomorrrow.

Hello all,

I stayed home from work/school today. I developed a bad migraine last night and it was worse this morning.

Feeling at least functional now, but still cannot totally get rid of the headache. It lingers on. I am sure the crazy weather is not helping. The other day we had really high pollen, and now freezing temperatures.

While staying in bed and on the couch all day I did listen to a few hours of light Christmas music in the background.

Morning MMC. Was good to be back at work yesterday and see my co-worker after he lost his unborn baby last week. He was surprisingly acting like himself although I know it has to be something that takes time to feel normal again. And speaking of normal, can the weather ever start acting it? I was freezing yesterday going outside and then we saw sleet and snow flakes mixed in. It's going to be MAY in 13 days and we're still freezing more than feeling warm. Slow spring! Have a good day!
