Morning MMC! That new week smell has come upon us. I'm off Friday as we are taking my mom out for Mother's Day. 4 Day work weeks are cool and 3 day weekends are even cooler. Lots of those in the next few months. Anyway, enjoy your Monday! We have beautiful weather this week. Gotta enjoy it!
Good Monday morning! They predict nothing but sunshine and warmer temperatures all week. For the first time this season I'll hang clothes out to dry on our balcony. I have the day off but tons to do, including taking Loki to the vet for the required heartworm test before he gets his prescription for the next two years. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

It’s going to be sunny here today with a high of 72 degrees. I’m just having my coffee and playing with Rocky. I’m going to take him out in a little bit for a walk, he’s doing much better on his harness & leash. Not too much going on here today, just a typical day. I’m going shopping later this afternoon for a Mothers Day gift for my mom. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. Dinner will be Minestrone soup with tortellini. That’s about it for me. Hope everyone is well. Have a nice day!

Nancy and Elizabeth spent the whole weekend getting pictures made with her dance group, on both Saturday and Sunday. Jacob had another date with his new girlfriend, and I mostly worked LOL.
I helped Jim install wheelchair ramps at his home. His wife is coming home from the hospital on Thursday! She's been in physical therapy, learning how to move from a wheelchair to the bed, car, etc. by herself, and other things to take care of herself. She's still forbidden from putting weight on her hip for many more months, but at least she can do some things for herself.
First real staff meeting with our new manager in 30 minutes. I hope y'all have a great day!

Days to Christmas Day: 232
Eight is the magic number of the day.
That's the number of days remaining until we reach the HALF way point to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season. ONE WEEK from tomorrow.

We were given a chance at rain yesterday, but it did not materialize and we had another nice day, with a few passing clouds.
Only a 10 percent chance of precipitation is in the forecast for the balance of this week, with highs in the 70's and 80's.
Today has commenced sunny, at 62 degrees, here.

Good Morning MMC....back to work today but my weekend was nice and relaxing. We have a busy week ahead with a few softball games but the weather looks nice. Hope you all have a great Monday!
Good morning MMC!! This truly is a Monday!!! Since I stayed with mom so many nights in a row we decided to stay at the lake last night, which was really nice but boy am I burned out today!! Ready for a nap! My hubby is on vaca all week! I'm just a little jealous!

Yes! My FIL saw it yesterday down by the creek, but again couldn't get close to it. I wish I (or some other female) would be there when it was around. Just makes you wonder if it maybe wasn't abused by a male that it runs from them?? Maybe not, but I'm curious!

(((HUGS)))Well, nearly a week since I've stopped by - where does the time go?
I seem to be having a really hard time getting used to the idea that my mom isn't around especially so close to Mother's Day. I talk to her all the time in my head and a few times I've woken up hearing her voice speaking louder than usual to me.
I decided on Mother's Day, to pay tribute by treating myself to a Mother's Day Surprise Meal and playing some of her favourite music. It's better just to find some way to include her rather than to miss her terribly.
My dad went for his first solo vacation since her passing over the Christmas holidays. I'm glad he was able to visit with both brothers in different cities and catch up with a few old friends and relatives he hasn't seen for along time.
If all goes well, we should be bringing "mom's urn" to Nova Scotia this summer to release her ashes.
Beautiful weather today and the birds and buds are taking some of the "icky earth smell" off my mind.
