So it was you that stole all of my rain!!! Lol!!

Seriously though. They’ve called for rain everyday for the last week and we’ve gotten one 30 second down pour.

We had the same forecast too - was supposed to rain every day from last week Friday until this week Friday...yesterday was the 1st rain we have seen besides a little spitty/misty rain on Saturday.

Happy Hump and Pines Day!! We had a terrible storm last night and lost power until 1am so not too terrible. A tree fell on a power line at the end of my road. And then last night after my husband got the generator going water started pouring out of water tank, the plumber came this morning and we need a whole new tank...ugh always something! Just work for me today...hope you all have a great day!

Good Wednesday morning! After some rain yesterday, it's bright sunshine again today but it was quite cold overnight and this morning so far. It's supposed to warm up nicely later on. A company came to mow the lawn this morning at our apartment building. It was more than due, Loki was almost disappearing in the grass. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day!

Awww man, that really stinks. Was it the expansion tank or the water heater that went? Do you have a sump pit/ pump down in the basement? I sure hope nothing in your basement got ruined.

As much as we need water, it is a killer when it comes to any kind of water leak in the house; it can cause so much damage.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

My goodness, if this pollen doesn't ease up soon, I'm going to go crazy. And not in the fun way like Prince was singing about. I was up at 3 am sneezing and sniffing, and it's still going. Grrr.

I was mowing the lawn yesterday, but it was pouring rain while I did it, so I thought I'd be safe from the allergens. Alas, no such luck.

The yard looks good, though! The grass is green and the pool is not, so maybe it's worth it.

Leak update.
The leak itself is not bad but the water damage under the floor is. The workmen are out here now tearing out the tile floor to access the wet wood underneath. (The concern is over mold, of course.) The insurance adjuster should be here soon.
At least everyone working seems friendly and competent but they could be here for several days.
Oh, well. That's life. Things happen.

We had a storm roll through late afternoon. Lucy was so confused. She was standing out in the garage watching it pour & listening to the thunder - wondering what was going on!! LOL! She hasn't seen too many of them in her time here on earth!

The storm hit with such a velocity and without warning, like a storm wall! The outside went from light to black in a snap of a finger, and the wind shook the house. That Shiloh, she went low to the ground, ears backwards, tail dragging on the floor, and went under the ottoman and didn't come out for like 3 hours. Ariel, was looking around, with this worried look on her, she jumped up on the couch and curled up in a blanket. It was the first time that either one of them have been thru a storm like that.

That really stinks Crown. I'm sorry to hear about the water damage. You are so right, mold...., is a very bad thing! And besides that, it's like the wood, drywall, carpeting, padding and materials like that, just seem to soak up the water like a sponge. If you don't get it up/ dried out; you got mold. And if that does not happen, there's the warping of the wood, which screws up your floors, etc...

I feeling for you Crown. I hope that insurance can cover it all 100% for you.

We had a couple hours of violent lightning, thunder, and rain; it was darker during the storms that it was at 8 p.m.! I had to work late, but in the end that meant the storms were over by the time I was driving home, so it worked out well for me. Those who drove through rush hour found it hard going in the storms.

I hope Shiloh is back to normal this morning!

Anyone want our rain? Last nights storms kinda fizzled out by the time they reached us .. We got hours of rain, thunder and lighting but it was not as severe as they were calling for the wind was next to nothing which was good. We have had a lot of rain in the last week and they are calling for more rain everyday through Sunday. We haven't been able to cut our grass in the last week .. so by the time the rain clears out and the grass dries out enough for us to cut it the grass will be at my knees

It was our water pressure tank...and he had to replace all the piping and valves. I hated writing out that check...lol but I think we will need to pull up our carpet where it got all wet.
Always something but what are you going to do?? I think I may watch a Christmas show today to help with my mood!

The storms we terrible!! I could not believe how dark it was...Leo hid under my bed the whole time and my boxer Andre sat on my lap. They are never fearful of storms either! Have you seen all the pics of the damage? Crazy!

We don't have any celebrations until the July ornament release...The tough part is we've had two stores bow out of the Gold Crown program in successive years. I'm going to have to truck a fair distance north to score my bonus goodies, this season.
