Christmas Countdown - 2018

Happy Thursday ~
We’re going to have sunshine with temperatures in the upper 70’s. Not too much going on here. I’ll just be working on some chores around the house. I don’t plan on going anywhere so I can keep a close eye on Rocky while he recovers from his surgery. He already perked up a bit and I got him to eat this morning. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Happy Friday Eve!! Typical day of work today and I am taking my oldest daughter and a couple of her friends over to see another friend, she had ACL on surgery on Monday so they are bringing her a basket of goodies. Not sure what we are doing for dinner?? My husband is working late so it may be take out tonight, we'll see..hope you all have a great day...getting even closer to the long weekend!

I hope your daughter's friend improves quickly!

Today is my Friday from work. We're having a party for the plant to commemorate 10 years without a Lost Time Accident. That's a big accomplishment for a facility like ours, with such potential for accidents.

We're having BBQ catered, as well as gifts like t-shirts, coolers and umbrellas for the guys. We're supposed to close at noon, but I'm not sure if that extends to the admin staff, too.

The plant will be closed tomorrow, using our "floating" holiday, and we're closed Monday for Memorial Day, so a long weekend is here!

Today is my Friday from work. We're having a party for the plant to commemorate 10 years without a Lost Time Accident. That's a big accomplishment for a facility like ours, with such potential for accidents.

We're having BBQ catered, as well as gifts like t-shirts, coolers and umbrellas for the guys. We're supposed to close at noon, but I'm not sure if that extends to the admin staff, too.

garden is all in so this will be good for the plants
off to take mom shopping is a bit and then coming home o get some cleaning and sewing done.

Congratulations to your plant on 10 years without lost time accidents. That is quite an accomplishment, especially in such a field. I work in retail and the longest we’ve gone without lost time is about one year and a half. Enjoy the bbq and the upcoming long weekend Bradmac!

We're heading for the low 90sF this weekend. An uncharacteristically hot Memorial Day(cold and damp is the norm), but after our April blizzard, with December temperatures, six weeks ago there best be no complaining.

Lol!!! I’ve been complaining already. We went from winter in April to everyday in May being above average temperature wise. If the forecast holds, it’ll be the hottest May ever in Indy.

Is there any way for you to speak with her doctors to know why they are sending your mom to a cardiologist? Hope everything will be ok, I’m sending positive thoughts your mother’s way.

Thanks, Martine!! They got her in to the cardiologist next Thursday. It’d probably take her doctor longer to call her back than it will be to just wait on the appointment. She use to be a really good doctor but now she’s went to part time after having her 3rd child and it takes her forever to do anything.
