Good Saturday morning! It’s going to be another perfect Summer day and once again I’ll be stuck inside doing interviews all day. It’s the last day of the job fair, might be a bit busier because it’s the weekend. I’m just looking forward to a day off tomorrow. Hope you will all enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Real pleasant here yesterday weather-wise, especially by evening with lower temperature and humidity readings.
Today will see us continue dry, but with our high approaching 90.
We are starting off this second June weekend at 73 degrees here in Raleigh.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Friends. And a nice, relaxing weekend.
Enjoy the Belmont this evening with a tall one of iced tea while munching a fired twinkie! (Will Justify win the triple crown??)

Good morning! Just got off work and picked up my kids, stopped to get coffee and cinnamon rolls at our local coffee shop.

Good morning .. sitting here enjoying coffee and relaxing before I have to take my daughter to work, do yard work and go grocery shopping. Hoping to get all that done before the rain moves in this afternoon. Ordered the kids their main Christmas Gifts yesterday ... So we are pretty much done buying toys for our son... just need to get him clothes, dvds and the rest of his stocking stuffers. So excited to be this far ahead of the game this early in the year but we did score some great deals on gifts for him at Toys R us in the past month.

I'm glad to see you here again, my friend. What's new with me, hmmmm,
well, let's see; in the last 2 years, I've been very busy also;

My wife of 23 years left me and the kids, I got divorced, had to sell my home, moved twice/ 2 different states, I then met a wonderful lady in Connecticut (Christian Mingle), I fell in love once more, moved to Connecticut, I got married, bought another home and have adopted two rescued kitties. My kids are in Maryland, on their own and doing good; I miss them and miss seeing them on a regular basis. I'm happy, I thank the Lord every day for all that is in my life, but I feel as though I have been through the washing machine a few times...

I will pray for your son, gosh Sugar, I'm so sorry about what you have all been going thru and I have hope and faith that all will be fine from now on with your son. Have faith, pray and put your trust in the Lord, I know, for I have.

Amazing Crown! Below the 200 mark in both, how about that! Time flies when we are all having fun. It's so exciting, with this momentous point in the countdown and Christmas in July coming up soon!
 
Good morning dear friends! Happy Saturday wishes to ya all. My plans for today is to make a nice large pot of bean soup (oh the wife is going to just love me later!) do a lot of packing today, some running and general odds and ends to overall have a very productive day. I got the coffee in me doing its thing and I'm about all geared up getting ready to get started. I hope you all have a great day!

You have been keeping busy! I’m sorry as well what you had to go through, but am very happy for you that you’ve found love and are happy!

Thank you for the prayers - it was a huge thing, that turned out to not be so bad at all, but just deal with the issue time to time, depending on what he is doing, but we still go for regular check ups and have been to Children’s for it as well. They feel is probably stemmed from birth and was not an issue until last year. We’re so blessed that he’s healthy, very intelligent, and happy kid.

Things are going well with me. The store is still open and Palmer is as feisty and playful as ever. Thank you for asking! :)

I saw in another post where you had a health scare with your son, so glad all is going well with him. I'll be keeping all of you in my prayers! {{{HUGS}}}
 
Merry Saturday!

It has been lightly raining off and on all day ~ thank the Lord! It is also relatively cool out. I have the window wide open in here so I can enjoy the refreshing breeze. Love this day, but I'm sure my gardens are going to love it even more. :)

Today I did make my pot of Bean Soup. I used a recipe that Minta passed on to me and I have to tell ya, it turned out fantastic. I tweaked it just a bit and added a couple more things and it turned into a soup that you can eat with a fork, so I added more chicken stock and that kinda of evened things out just a bit.

I can't wait to try it again tomorrow, it seems like soup only gets better as it ages a little bit.
Today and into late this evening, it was packing, packing and packing for us. We are knocking out room after room and are making great progress. We got to also make a run to Goodwill tomorrow to drop off a few items that we no longer need or have a use for.
