Good Morning, Christmas Chasers, Season Seekers and Milestone Maniacs!

So, moving right along, we present today's data:
Days to the Season: 155
Days to Christmas Day: 197

And our next marker, a truly major one, is now only 15 days down the road.
TWO WEEKS from tomorrow.
It's the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS, my Friends.
(Things are starting to move at a dizzying pace!)

No rain developed yesterday evening, despite the possibility of precipitation predicted. We did get some in the early morning hours. Today shows us with an 80 percent chance of the wet stuff and a 60 percent chance for tomorrow.
We have started off a bit cloudy here this AM, at 71 degrees.

Happy Monday MMC. We have a nice day here developing. I'm off today and get my brother at the airport this evening. I will work tomorrow on my birthday and the 2 days following that but then will be off for Fri, Sat, Sun...it's a busy week for me. Anyone have a pillow? Have a great day!

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

My Elizabeth was in a dance recital Saturday evening, and it was a wonderful show! I worked all day Saturday with my new pressure washer, Precious (that's right; her name is Precious), and I was tired when I got to the recital, but I perked right up when she came out on stage.

Sunday afternoon we had a 90th birthday party for a lady in the church. Someone left the door to the social hall open, and gnats FILLED the room. Everyone was fanning the gnats with the clear plastic plates that were placed out for finger foods. I went to the back for a paper plate, and picked out a fun Christmas plate. Nancy saw it and said, "of course, Brad gets a Christmas plate."

I was doing coffee time at church after service yesterday and went to cupboard for a mug, and yest there was a Christmas one ! So of course I had to use it.

going to be a lovely day here with a nice breeze blowing to air out the house.
Have a small turkey in the oven. I chop up the meat and put it back in freezer for salads.
Have some sewing to do today as well.

Not much going on today besides work & grocery. Need to run to the lake after work & do the dishes I literally didn't have time to do over the weekend! I just hate an excuse to head to the lake!

Happy Monday....I had to get tires on my car this morning and then back to work. We should have a quiet week...looks like we may hit 90 on Wednesday and humid. Hope you all have a great Monday!!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve said hello, but I’ve signed on three days in row and thought I said check in.

Life is keeping me very, very busy. My kids are growing like weeds, work feels crazier all the time, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Today is hubby’s 33rd birthday, but he’s been working for almost 2 days straight, so we won’t be seeing him today, but hope he’s staying safe and having a great day!

Hope all is well with you all and your families! We’re under 200 days!

Look at these two adorable doggies Fun fact: the mall where the new store will be and where we are currently holding the job fair has a pet groomer. So a few times so far we’ve seen dogs walk by our area. Just love dogs.

Hello, Xmastidings! I occasionally have stopped in, but just really don’t post much. I’ve been really focused on my kids, my hubby, and work. I watch my 6 month old niece a couple of days a week too, so I keep busy. We ran in to some scary issues with my son about a year ago too, which for a while, kept me just focused on him. We’re still dealing with the issue, but everything continues to check out ok and his check ups go well. I thank God everyday for that.

Good morning .. sitting here enjoying coffee and relaxing before I have to take my daughter to work, do yard work and go grocery shopping. Hoping to get all that done before the rain moves in this afternoon. Ordered the kids their main Christmas Gifts yesterday ... So we are pretty much done buying toys for our son... just need to get him clothes, dvds and the rest of his stocking stuffers. So excited to be this far ahead of the game this early in the year but we did score some great deals on gifts for him at Toys R us in the past month.

Post-Milestone and Pre-Milestone. It is eternally thus.
We have just passed one and sure enough, the next one is looming.

But we will get to that after this:

Now that the 200-Day window has been opened on BOTH of our counts, we can turn our attention to Milestone marker number 10.
(That's right. I said TEN.)

Well.......let's not drag this out.......It's the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS!
That's correct. In just 16 days, we will be HALF WAY back to Christmas Day.
(Now, are you glad you stayed for the news or wish you hadn't?)

Dry yesterday but warm. Today was supposed to be rainy, but the weather service has pushed that back to tonight, so we should have another pretty good day.
Right now, we stand at 71 sunny degrees here in the capital city.

Late getting to everyone today. Busy getting to the gym, doing some errands and now had some time to relax. Took the dog for a nice long walk in the forest. He had some fun chasing squirrels. Don't think the squirrels cared much for it. Thinking about making a nice pot of soup, but it seems too warm for that yet. Keep cool everyone.
