Christmas Countdown - 2018

Quick check in today. Trying a new sourdough starter for my bread. Today's day two, and it has to be watched for a least four days. I received a little batch of powdered goat's milk on Sunday and promised I would make some bread with it. Finger's crossed. Enjoy your day everyone!

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! Just work for me today & then ??? It's really dreary, spitting rain! I got the lawn mowed last night, so that's done ... until later this week!

Just got news this morning that my FIL went to the ER last night. He was having issues with his right leg, blurred vision, dizzy, his BP was high! Hopefully it was all due to the BP & they got that under control & nothing more serious! He was resting comfortably when my MIL left the hospital at 11:30 last night. They are doing an MRI & other testing today. xx Hoping for an update before long!

And today's Milestone data?
Well, it gets more and more exciting by the day.
In precisely TWO WEEKS, we will be arriving at the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS 2018, Folks.
(Believe it or not!)

As far as our weather is concerned, I believe in the kind we had yesterday evening, when it cooled off into the low 70's, the humidity dropped significantly and a major storm system passed harmlessly to our south.
Today should be quite pleasant as well, with a predicted high of 77 and about a one chance in three of precipitation. We have begun it at 66 degrees here in the middle part of the great state of North Carolina and it's rather damp/overcast after another overnight rain.

Good Tuesday morning! This will be the last of these perfect Summer days as rain will move in tomorrow. I'm going to take Loki on a long walk at the park this morning to take in this beautiful sunshine. Other than that it's just work for me. It feels like I haven't yet recuperated from those long days at the job fair last week. I'm tired of feeling tired. Hopefully this walk will energize me. Have a great day everyone!

Morning MMC! Well I picked up my brother last night at the airport and I couldn't help but think "he was just here for Christmas" and somehow we're almost Halfway there again. We already had fun last night joking around on the way home. Ran a little extra harder today just to make sure I can still do it despite turning 40 lol. I really don't feel it...I feel closer to 30 but as "they" say 40 is the new 30. Back to work for me for 3 days. Enjoy your Tuesday!

Merry Tuesday MMC!
It’s going to be sunny with highs near 70, we’re currently at 56 degrees. Not too much going on here. My middle one is off today so she’ll be keeping me company. We’re going to the outlets later this afternoon to do some shopping and we plan on grabbing Chipotle for lunch. Other than that I’ll be working on the laundry. Dinner will be tacos. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

Wow, did it ever rain last night! Nancy, Lulu and I went to the Dollar Store last night to pickup a few things, and when we got home it was raining so hard we sat in my truck for 20 minutes before braving the storm.

We were hoping to grill at our house by the pool tonight for mom's birthday, but it's supposed to rain again. I think Jim and I will just grill at her house under the shelter. That'll be easier on Jim's wife, too.
