He is very ill and we are trying to work on getting the whole family together, which is not an easy thing to do. But I am hopeful we can pull it off! I hope everyone has a great evening!

Merry Friday!

Working on research for the store today. Lots of different items I need to learn about ~ have to expand offerings to keep people interested.

It is going to heat up out this way with higher humidity. Although I hate humid weather, we desperately need rain out this way so I am hoping several thunderstorms will pop over the weekend. The grass looks like it does in late July/early August and the pond is dropping an inch a day ~ not good! My brother was out to the pond yesterday and told me he saw a bunch of bullheads and a turtle.

It’s beautiful here - I took advantage of the sun and laid out for a little while, now I’m going to get a run in and this evening we’re taking the kids to the drive-in.

It's Weekend Eve again, where we stand on the threshold of another end-of-the-week oasis and look forward to a bit of R&R.

And we are also getting close to the threshold of yet another Milestone!

Days to Christmas Day: 193

And is 11 days from the HALF WAY point to Christmas close enough to be considered a threshold?
No?
Well, surely we are on the threshold of SINGLE DIGITS to that marker, since the day after tomorrow will see us only 9 days away!
(Put that in your stump of a pipe and smoke it.)

Warmer and more humid yesterday, as our brief cool spell is but a memory.
Today should see a high in the upper 80's with a negligible chance of rain.
We currently stand at 73 degrees here in the capital city.

Merry Friday!! It is cloudy day here but I think it is going to warm up. We should have a quiet night tonight and may grill out. Tomorrow our friends are opening their pool so they want to have a cook out tomorrow night so we will go over there. No other real plans on Sunday, which is fine with me. TGIF, Christmas friends!

We were out late last night with Elizabeth as she went to play practice and we went shopping. Nancy dropped me off at the new Harbor Freight store (its a store that sells inexpensive tools), then we both went to Lowe's and to Walmart. I got home at 10:30, which is about 30 minutes past this old man's bed time. *yawn*

Nancy and I actually planning to go see The Incredibles 2 tonight with our niece and her two boys. I think Nancy is the most excited LOL.

Good morning! I’m headed out shortly to have coffee with my sister, mom, hubby, and the kids, then have a mandatory education I have to attend at work for an hour. We’re taking the kids to a local lake here later on, to go swimming and fishing.
