I have question, is there anyone here on the forums that is from England or Scotland?
My wife and I are in the beginning stages of planning a vacation to England and Scotland in the summer of 2020. I know that seems a long way off, but it is really it closer than it seems. We are hoping to be able to coordinate our trip when my wife's favorite artist, Marina Abramovic, is going to be doing a live exhibit in London.
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to actually talk to someone who lives there and get the inside scoop.

Well the heat is turning up... and I don't like it.
The weatherman said there is a 75%+ chance of the heat index being above 95 for the next few days. I looked at my wife and said, "and there is a 100% chance that I will not walk outside for the next few days."
I really need to live in a cooler/colder climate. Ohio is great in the late fall through early Spring, but after that just yuck! Once the temperature gets over 75 I think it is too hot.
Oh well, enough complaining.
Lots of writing to do this weekend. I am going to try and get a solid chapter done. We are going on a big family cabin stay from July 2-6. It is not just us but my wife's family and extended family and my dad and his wife. I will have some time to write then too, but I will not have internet access at the cabin so I want to spend that time editing.

Our nearby neighbor hasn't begun firing his array of seasonal things that go *BOOM* in the night. The property has changed hands several times over the years, but that redwood fence, around the edge of the property, entices everyone who calls it home to create their own annual, private show.
CIJ Spirit Dept: I have secured December 7th, 20th, 21st, and 31st off from work. The 7th is for the much needed bonus tree trimming time. Last year's day for same got usurped by more pressing tasks. May this season be kinder...

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday!!! I set my alarm last night for the last time for 10 days. YAY!!! What a great feeling!!3 1/2 hours of work & then it's time for staycation!
I hope to get Lucy out on the pontoon for her 1st ever boat ride!
It's going to be a cooker this weekend. Can't wait for some Christmas movies on HMM!!!

Lucy is a piece of work! She was limping around all day yesterday ~ then we got to the lake & her friend Shay was there & they ran & ran & ran & ... around like wild women!!!! She was fine all night until Jim got home & she started limping again!!!!This morning she was limping a little but she let me mess with her paw, which she wouldn't do yesterday. She's a mystery!!!

Good evening, friends! Lazy day here today. I met my mom, sister, the baby, and took my kids to have coffee. We try to go every Friday morning. I’ve been resting the rest of the day, that way I can enjoy myself this weekend.
