Christmas Countdown - 2018

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

I had a great birthday Saturday! I sat around the house all day, watching scifi movies and eating popcorn. Then the family took me out to dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant.

Most of last weekend and all of this week will be devoted to Elizabeth's The Little Mermaid production. The show is Thursday through Sunday, and from the scenes I've already seen, she'll be great!

Good morning ... I was sad to miss most of QVC's CIJ this past weekend however we were at the shore with the kids and had a blast and didn't get back until yesterday so I got see some of it yesterday afternoon and evening.Great weather, Beach, water park, boardwalk, rides, games and fudge ... couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Still on vacation this week but hoping to use this time get a lot of these small projects done. Well I need to get caught up on the posts. Have a great morning.

Hi All, Happy Monday.
Its nearly summer break in the UK, my kids all finish on Thursday and I've booked a nice little beach hut trip for Friday, hope the weather is kind to us. Then it's count down to our Summer Holiday in August, then our Xmas trip to NYC!
Lots to look forwards to - just got to get through the next few days of a heavy workload.

Merry Monday!!

I'm dragging a bit today. Jazzie had a rough night. Hopefully she does better today. Harlowe will keep her company!

Typical day here, work, and trying to stay cool. One more day of heat and humidity before we drop in temps. Can't wait! We are supposed to dip down into the 50's overnight. Sounds like heaven.

Good morning MMC!! A late check in for me! I was with Mom last night/overnight & came to work a little later today! So happy I have that flexibility!

It was a hot weekend! Whew! Yesterday was a little better b/c the sun wasn't shining full bore, but it was still warm!

Not much going on today besides work & then groceries. It's supposed to rain this afternoon/evening. We sure need it! I hope everyone's Monday is off to a good start!!!

Well another QVC big CIJ weekend event has come and gone. Fun was had by all and glitter manufacturers around the world rejoiced.

Let me also mark the 5 year anniversary of our biggest CIJ party here on the forums by giving a shout out to the class of 2013. While so many have faded away, it’s good to see some of us still here continuing the tradition.

3430 posts over one weekend about an event that brought us such classics as the cheerleader and Poo-pourri.

To put that in perspective, it took until March 19th this year for the countdown to reach 3430 posts.

Truly a weekend that’ll never be topped.

Good Morning!

It's a new week. The first full week of the last third of our Season count.
And hard up on the rail comes our next Milestone.
But let's tend to first business first.

The numbers for the day:
Days to the Season: 120
Days to Christmas Day: 162

And the first number is quite significant because it informs us that we are now UNDER three weeks away from the 100-Day Season Window and the beginning of a double-digit Season count.
(And then, we move into high gear!)

Rather warm and humid all day yesterday, including the evening, making front porch sitting an activity of last resort.
Today we are supposed to reach the low 90's with a near zero chance of precipitation.
The current temperature reading is 76 degrees here to start the week.

Wish I could say it was related to Holiday Inn, but it's not! Just a posh, old-fashioned New England inn in Woodstock, Vermont. Big fireplaces in the common areas.

sounds like a busy day for you ! Hope you get it all done...oh the joys of moving !

Oh it a blast! I’ve havent had these many joints ache on my body, ever! Yesterday, my knees and back was so sore, that I went and soaked in the tub, scalding hot water, for an hour.
But we’re also having a good time doing all this.
