Good morning MMC ~
Merry Thursday!
It’s going to be another warm and humid day. I’m heading out as soon as I finish my cup of coffee to run a few errands. I have to stop at the post office, the bank and Rite Aid. I also want to stop and get bird food for the feeders in the back yard. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I’m going to scrub the bathrooms today, clean the wood floors and work on the laundry. I’m going to grill chicken for dinner later tonight along with garlic Parmesan potato wedges and roasted asparagus. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!
xx

Wow!!!! I’m seriously impressed with you getting all that done! That a lot of work. Get some rest later, you will of have deserved all you can get.

Morning MMC! Good Thursday Morning! We got a good amount of rain yesterday. And that seems to be a theme this summer. Just hoping for a decent weather weekend ahead. Starting to organize my Halloween DVDS so that when September 1 comes I'm ready to start watching. Enjoy your Friday Eve!

sounds like a great plan edge! I will have to start doing the same.

Merry Friday MMC ~
Another warm & humid day. I hate to wish time away but I’m really looking forward to those Autumn temperatures. Just a typical day here of errands and chores. The girls and I are all meeting up later tonight for dinner. We’re going to order pizza, can’t wait :)
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
xx

Good Morning, Fellow Seekers.
Well, seek and ye shall find.
Of course, but how far ahead?
That's what we try and answer here on a daily basis.

So let's get to it:
Days to the Season: 102
Days to Christmas Day: 144

And our next sought Milestone marker?
Well, it's the 100-Day Season Window and it stands now just TWO days into the future.
THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, Folks!
(Incredible.)

More rain yesterday. (As if that was going to be in doubt.)
Today? Likely more. (As if that was in doubt, either.)
Our current reading?
72 damp, humid and overcast degrees.

Have a Fabulous Friday Friends.
Enjoy your Weekend Eve!

** TRAVEL ALERT! **

Well, this is it. Our annual trip to Florida and South Carolina to visit relatives!
We will be leaving early Monday morning and returning late Sunday afternoon.
As such, a volunteer (or volunteers) will be needed for this coming Monday through Sunday mornings.
A full week of owning and controlling the count any way you like it!
Any takers?
(No offers refused, reasonable or otherwise!)

Thanks Crown! Hope you enjoy this August Weekend!

Happy Friday!! And I am off next week. Not too much planned for the weekend. My husband is going on an annual golf trip and he will be back Monday. I am not sure what the weather is supposed to be like this weekend. Tomorrow seems iffy. We'll see...have a great Friday and first weekend of August!

Happy Friday to everyone!

Very glad it's Friday. Yesterday was a heavy workday ... I know I read and marked about 120 pages. I'm hoping today is easier! Weekends will be busy now, as it's time to choose, compile, and edit Christmas clips for this year's DVD.

Hope this day flies by so you can start enjoying your time off SnowflakeMom.

Good Friday morning! I’m working the afternoon/evening shift today so I got some laundry and supper done early this morning. Humidity is back with a veangeance here, hopefully the air conditioning will work at the store as it wasn’t working on our opening day. Have a great Friday everyone!

Wow, that's a lot of just reading alone, let alone proof reading; That is a lot of work and very impressive!

Now editing and compiling Christmas clips sounds like something that would be very enjoyable and also entertaining; have fun.

Good Evening!
I can't believe we are in August! Jooohooo!
The Bers are knocking on the door

My first born moved out yesterday, ready for college
I miss her already ♥
Luckily she is only a 30 minutes drive away!
But our house feels so empty without her here ♥

Yesterday's goodbye for my oldest and my youngest child:

So how is everything here? Still warm?
The temp. has dropped here FINALLY
Now we are expecting cloudy, rainy days ahead and temps from 57 to 64 degrees

We had weeks with high temps up to 94 degrees, so hot
We Norwegians dont have AC in our houses, so its impossible to sleep
But will this continue we have to install AC!

Now, I am ready for Autumn ♥
I know how you feel. My oldest is moving out in the next few weeks. Like yours, he'll only be 30 minutes away, but he'll be without my protection. Bless your heart.

I am not sure what the weather is supposed to be like this weekend. Tomorrow seems iffy.

The weather has been super weird lately, one minute its pouring, the next, the sun is out. I think the mosquitoes are loving it though, I stood outside yesterday talking to Jill for about 10 minutes and I got bit like 3 times. It's always on places that you cannot see; back, ears, neck....But, I got one of those blood suckers, she isn't going to bite anyone else ever again! Now, another 130 Quad-Zillion more to get!

Humidity is back with a veangeance here, hopefully the air conditioning will work at the store

I walked out the Air Conditioned house this morning, BAM!!!, right smack into a humidity wall! Yuck..... It's so thick, a person could suffocate in it. The temperature is one thing, I can deal with that, but the humidity, uggghhhh, it like sucks the life from right out of a person. I hope you stay cool!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

When I got home from work, it was raining so hard that I couldn't see across the street. Elizabeth had play practice, but that's 30 minutes away, and we didn't want her driving in that rain. I finally decided I would driver her there. The rain slacked off after we got on the road, and it was never bad while we were driving. But I was stuck in Statesboro for 3 hours. Ugh!

Guess where I'm going tonight? Statesboro. Ugh!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

The result is enjoyable and (hopefully) entertaining, but the actual work can be tedious and frustrating ... trying to get a fade-in or fade-out or transition to hit just right, trimming unwanted audio, trying to get the timing just right on a title or caption ... and this year I'm using a new software that I'm totally unfamiliar with, so I'm learning inch by inch as I work, frequently stopping to Google for instructions on how to do something. But I hope once I have it under my belt it'll go easier next year and following years. Once a clip is finished to my satisfaction, it feels good to watch it.

We DO watch our own annual Christmas DVDs from past years and enjoy them a lot, and occasionally surprise ourselves with something we didn't remember! I'm not sure how many we've done, but I think this year will be the 9th or 10th. Before that we did 10 years of Christmas CDs, mostly funny/silly/crazy/vintage/rare audio. So the annual "show" is nearly a 20-year tradition!

Good afternoon everyone! Stumbled across this thread and thought i would post.

If you can, keep your fingers crossed for me please, I am buying my first home and I’m on the final stages before a mortgage offer is issued and I just cannot wait! Solicitors are all waiting and ready to go, so just need the offer in front of me then I can get excited.

What makes it even better, it’s a November completion date which means I should be in for Christmas.

Hope everyone is having a great day
