Thank you!
I was gritting my teeth over it this weekend for a few hours, but I have a few basics under my belt now. Still wrestling with various commands, but starting to find what I need to use. But unless I can accelerate the learning curve, I worry about finishing everything in time! The DVD usually includes about 15 clips, some requiring a lot of editing and tweaking to work, others just needing a fade-in, fade-out, and a second or two of "slug" at the end.

If anyone can figure it out, you can! :)

Thank you so much, HmG ♥️

I’m really glad I went.
We managed to get Hailey to take the anti nausea pill that has been elusive up until this point. That must’ve done the trick. After that, i was able to get her to eat some treats that I brought up. That was a big deal- Shannon ran to the store yesterday and bought more of them. Hailey is a beagle that never turned down any food prior to getting sick.
And she held it down.
She seemed interested in going outside, so we took her out back and sat out there for an hour.
She drank water well, and enjoyed the time in the shade & summer breeze.
I think it did her a world of good.
Then a vet tech was able to come last night for the first time, and got a whole dose of fluids in her. Shannon said she seemed to perk up quite a bit.
So a good day overall.
Her Vet had wanted to give Hailey a full two weeks to respond to the antibiotics before retesting.
Praying it continues!

xo

Praying for Adi's dad and Adi! xx

Good afternoon, friends! I hope you are all doing well. Good first day of school for teachers. A few more days this week and then kids come next week. Things are shaping up and coming together. We are just about ready for the year to start.

So glad "things are shaping up and coming together"!

Merry Sunday, friends~

It’s a hot and humid day here, as well.
We got spoiled with a few days of cooler temperatures.

I am making the trip back home to La Crosse, to be there for my sister and her dog Hailey who is not doing well. She has kidney disease, and hasn’t eaten for five days now. It’s heartbreaking.
She is going to be touching base with her vet tomorrow, and will probably have to make a tough decision pretty quickly. Please keep Shannon and Hailey in your thoughts and prayers.
She lost her other dog, Hunter, only a few weeks ago. So this has been a very hard time for her, Hailey, and my niece, Alyssa.

Adrian‘s Dad is also going through some health problems, it’s so hard to see loved ones struggling.

We had a nice time last night, celebrating his birthday. Dinner was excellent, and so was the time away with our friends. It helped us get our mind off things for a bit.
We also watched the Green Bay Packers scrimmage game on TV, it made me even more excited for the ‘Bers and football season!!

Wishing you all a blessed Milestone Day!!

I’m glad that Hailey took her medicine and ate some. I’ll keep her and her human family in my thoughts for continued improvements.

It's one of my favorites. On top of everything else it has going for it, it has a wonderful background score. I have a CD that includes a "suite" compiled from the recurring musical themes in the movie. I was in heaven when I found that CD!

Interesting that you mention that. You know what, that was one of my favorite things from the Patrick Stewart one, and that was the soundtrack. I just love it.

Thank you. I am very curious and excited now, so I just gotta watch it, but I would really like to watch a really good copy of the movie. Any recommendations?
This edition. Pretty sure Amazon has it. The original black and white, plus U.S. and UK trailers and other extras.

Binger, oh man, I wish I could of had all of that on tape. I think I got a hernia and I peeed in my britches, laughing and crying so hard that night! “Poor Rudolph”!
It just cant be the same unless we can get Sugar to be here also.

Everyone, needs a little Sugar in their lives!!!! Lol
Yup xmas. Still legendary in my building. I woke up the entire place screaming with laughter. Yabba!

Good morning MMC!! Looks like I have some catching up to do on here! ♥ We had such a nice (and HOT) weekend at the lake, but it sure is Monday!! Jim got called into work at 3:23 AM this morning! (What a rude awakening!!) We were still at the lake, so he had to drive home to get his uniform & then head into work. Good news is he got off work around 8:45 this morning, which is unusual...he will enjoy that!! Even though it's going to be another hot one!
Today is my Mom #2's 86th birthday! Can't believe she's 86! We celebrated with her yesterday, listening to our friend sing/play guitar at the lake! So fun!
Lucy is doing very well after being spayed. We took off the cone right away & put on her onesie. We might be trusting her too much, but we even took that off. She really isn't messing with her incision. xx Still feel bad for her!! Poor girl! But she looked so cute! :)

Everyone, have a great Monday!!!

Hey - Dennis The Menace is a Christmas episode on Antenna TV right now!!! YAY!!!!
I'm so happy to read that Lucy is doing well after her surgery. I can't tell from the adorable picture if she is simply sleeping or feeling down about the onesie. Loki had so many issues with the cone of shame at first, he looked so sad and miserable. Glad you had such a nice weekend at the lake and hope you'll enjoy a nice week ahead.
