Christmas Countdown - 2019

Good Tuesday MMC! Already a full week into January. We have a little slip & slide going on as we got a little bit of sleet last night. Not much but you know a little ice can make it a little slippery. Just getting into the groove of working again and it is good to stay busy. Oh yeah I hope everyone has a great day!

"Merry Monday" MMC! It's so dark & dreary out today - after 3 days of sunshine!! I hung clothes on the line both Saturday & Sunday - that's almost unheard of in January!! I'm not saying I love it, but the opportunity was there! I was bummed to wake up this morning to hear "regular" tv shows on HMM! And then I got home from work to no Christmas again. Booooo! So I turned on a DVR'd Christmas movie!

I guess we are heading to Florida next month!! My whole family (siblings/spouses) are going to be there at the same time. REALLY looking forward to it!! We are all staying different places, so we'll have to work out plans... a lot of other local people will be there at the same time as well, including my in-laws who are there until April - should be a big ol shin dig!

This is my 1st full week at the new job. My hours have been set for 8-4 with a 1 hour lunch Monday thru Thursday & then 4 hours on Friday! I will like that much better than 8-5 with a 30 min lunch. That just wasn't enough time to get home & let my Lu bug out, eat & get back. Never mind when she has a grooming appointment. They were also very cool with me going to Florida next month, so that's huge!

We're expecting another moderate day here, with cooler weather returning tomorrow.

I'm trying to come up with something to report, but it was a pretty boring day yesterday. I'm not aware of much happening today, either. I'm hoping Jacob's car repair will be finished this week.

Her coat looks so soft and she looks as adorable as ever. Glad that the schedule at your new work place is working out for you Holiday.

Good Tuesday morning! We had our annual inventory at 7am yesterday and I was up at 2:30am and didn’t manage to leave work until 5:30pm and I hd to take Loki to the vet right when I got home for his annual exam and shots, so it was a long day.

As usual at the vet while in the waiting room, Loki wanted me to hold him and was whimpering and shaking like a leaf. He did not even react to a gorgeous cat left in a basket not too far from us while his owners paid for his treatment, when he usually goes bonkers around cats. He always gets a lot of treats from the vet, it’s like he only remembers the bad things about that place.

We got snow overnight and it’s very windy right now, the type of day when you’d rather stay warm inside, but we have some errands to run and David has a physio appoitment this afternoon. Chores and laundry are on the list as well. Have a great day everyone!

Tonight was the first of the services for my cousin. My mom's/aunt's cousins came down to support our family from Massachusetts, which was a great surprise. We are so thankful some of them were able to come down.
My cousin's fiancé from Canada came down and it has been nice to get to know him. We still aren't in agreement about everything and question why they desire to get married so soon but are glad he car down to support her

That's great that your family is in to visit. Continued prayers for you guys!

Wanted to share this...Carolina drew this for my aunt so she knows that Zachary is always with her. People loved the picture and thought it was a great representative of him. One if her PreK teachers came as she was friendly with my aunt and told me that Carolina is sensitive to the needs of others and they are impressed with how she is handling everything right now

Well the village came and took our Christmas tree from the curb yesterday, it's a double edged sword, I hate to see it completely gone but looking at it laying by the street was probably worse. Ah well, onward and upward .... I hope everyone is have a great day!

Good morning! Just sitting here watching Chesapeake Shores on the Hallmark Movies Now App. I just started it and am really enjoying it so far. I plan on trying to do some re-decorating of the house today too and just relax.

Same with us here - but, DH was able to talk them down some things and abl to make some things work.

We have television, phone, internet, and security with Comcast. Between the bundle discount, and additional discount negotiation, it is a chunk, but we save quite a bit over any combination of other providers.

Good evening, everyone! Just sitting here getting caught up and watching TV, getting ready to eat dinner. DD has 2 hours of group baton tonight, so while she is doing that, DH, DS, and myself are going to run to Big Lots, see what they have left in Christmas decor and also look at their Valentine's Day, Spring, and Easter decor. We decorate for every season and holiday here, so I'm looking forward to finding some new decorations.

Not much other planned for the evening. Until DD is done with practice and we pick her up, that will put us at 8:30 and once we get home, we'll just relax.

Thank you! Today was quite difficult. My aunt asked me to read Psalm 23. I was very nervous about doing it, but I got thru it for her.
Their cousins had to go home after the funeral due to having to go back to work tomorrow. They sent us all a text about an hour ago that they got home safely. We are so thankful they could come to surround my aunt with as much love as possible.

So sweet!
