Good Morning, Everyone.
A new week.
The VERY LAST full week before Christmas!
(Can it be? Can it truly be??)

Checking the chart:
Days to Christmas Day: 9 (SINGLE DIGITS!!)
And when single digits are reached, you know Christmas is almost here!

Warmer yesterday, with highs in the low 60's. No rain either.
Today and tomorrow should be even warmer, with highs in the mid 60's.
Today will be dry but the rains are predicted to return for tomorrow.
Right now, we begin this final full festive week before Christmas at 47 degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
Enjoy this week to the absolute fullest!
Thanks Crown! Happy Final Week Before Christmas!

Merry Monday!! How are we so close to Christmas?? I finished my wrapping and I just need to get a few stocking stuffers but I can get those this week. Looks like we may get a storm tonight of 103 inches of snow but ice mixed in so I am sure there will be delays if not closed. We'll see...hope you all enjoy your day!!

103 inches???? I guess I shouldn’t complain about getting another 2 to 4 inches tonight. LOL!!!!

Wowee! That's, like, 8.5 feet of snow!!

LOL! I bet she meant 1" to 3"...I hope, anyway! :p

Happy Monday and Merry Christmas! Back at work this morning for another 4 day week. Walked into the office and into a problem at our Denver branch. **sigh**

Temp was 39 when I got in the car this morning. The high is expected to be 68.

Nothing really too exciting this week. Probably look to get plenty of rest today and tomorrow before starting the baking Wednesday evening. I'm trying some new things this year so I'm excited and nervous. Just like waiting for Santa to arrive.

Enjoy!

Good morning! I enjoyed leaving DD at home to study the back of her eyelids on her Independent Study Day!

This week will be busy, but good busy mostly.

Today: I have an eye doctor appt, just routine
Wednesday: Our 26th wedding anniversary
Thursday: After work Christmas dinner with my close work friends (we go to our supervisors home, she cooks dinner for us (meets us at the door with homemade hot chocolate & marshmallows), and we do a small gift exchange
Friday: Work Team Christmas lunch & white elephant gift exchange, Dolly Parton's Stampede for dinner with DD & In-Laws for our anniversary (this dinner is an annual event & we've only missed a couple of times in 26 years)
Saturday: Should be quiet, but if the new Star Wars movie is out this weekend, DH will probably want to go
Sunday: Church x 2, with Candlelight Service in the PM

Good Afternoon.... How is it that we are I the last full week before Christmas already?? DH and I went shopping yesterday and bought our fur babies their Christmas gifts. Bunch of treats for our kitty, new collar with match lease and name tag along with dental treats and a bone for our 4 yr old puppy. I placed the bag of their goodies on the top shelf in the coat closet. Took all of 45 minutes before our puppy girl was sitting in front of the coat closet whining and barking with her nose up in the direction of where I stashed their goodies. She must have smelled her bone up there. Needless to say I moved them to the bedroom closet. I really need to work on cleaning my house lol. Dinning room looks like the wrapping dept exploded in there. Guess that is to be expected at this time of the year. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hello everyone,

I can’t believe how close we are to Christmas.

It’s a busy week at work because we have some stuff to finish up before the end of the year. But I don’t mind since it’s my last work week of 2019!
Got some important plans for tonight.. a Christmas movie and a cup of hot chocolate.. I can’t wait! :D

Enjoy your day!

TGIF! DD has completed her 1st semester as a high school Freshman and the world rejoices; :) She goes Wednesday morning for one test and then she's free until January 7.

I hope to spend Saturday deep cleaning the house. No plans until church on Sunday. Sunday night is the children's Christmas program.

I hope everyone has a good weekend!
One down, seven to go...Nothin, but smooth sailing ahead.

Good morning all!
Today is a normal Sunday mostly. Laundry, school prep, Christmas music/movies, and Brown's football. With the weather forecast, the school prep might be all for nothing. (which is ok with me ;))
This is the last week of school before break, and Wednesday and Thursday are semester exams. Friday is supposed to be a "fun" day and early dismissal.

However, with the current weather forecast that might change a bit. We are expecting a couple of inches of snow tonight and into Monday morning. We currently have a winter weather advisory for tonight and the morning. Then, it is going to stop snowing through the day. They originally said we would get rain during the day, but that looks like it will stay south. Then, Monday evening and night we are supposed to get another 2-3 inches of snow. Soooo... when all is said and done, we might end up with Monday and Tuesday off! Granted none of that is a lot of snow, but the timing is what is important. Plus, I teach at a rural school district so the buses have to travel a lot of roads that never see salt or a plow.

:snowball

I am ready for the snow! Henry is also preparing for his normal snow rituals tonight to help increase the probability of a snow day. Those rituals include, but are in no way limited to the following: Pajamas inside out, flushing ice cubes down the toilet, sleeping with a spoon under the pillow, and doing a funny dance (wearing underwear only) in front of an open freezer. The kid takes his duties as snow maker seriously! :D

:shiver:snowball:snowhappy:bundleup:tree::snow::march:
The Browns seriously disappointed, today....:(

Are you looking forward to 103 inches of snow? You can lots of snowmen.

Happy Monday Morning MMC! We got a surprise snow storm last night, it was only calling for a coating to maybe a dusting, but it snowed at least an inch so far, and it is supposed to snow today until about 5 pm! I am actually going outside here in about 45 minutes, and turn on all my Christmas lights so i can take pictures of our house and grounds covered in Snow!

Since I'm not involved in outdoor sports and recreation; taking pictures of snow on the trees or with decorated home is the only purpose I see for it.

Good Monday morning! It has turned bitterly cold this morning, -19°C/-2°F with the windchill factor. For the next three evenings I will be baking and making some food in preparation for my family’s get-together on Thursday. Have a great day everyone!

We're going to feel some of that over the next three days; coldest expected on Wednesday. Might have to plug the car in tomorrow night through Thursday then it will get milder on Friday.

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a super-busy weekend again, and I wish this week would go a little slower, but it's not gonna happen.

While at her dress rehearsal for Nutcracker last Thursday, Elizabeth lost the key to her car. And it was the spare key, since Nancy lost the first key a couple years ago. It's a push-button start, and the replacement key was $400, so I didn't buy it back then. Now I'm up against the wall LOL. I ordered a replacement Friday, and it should arrive today, so I have to go try to program it this afternoon. What ever happened to turning a physical key?!?

Anyway, Friday we went to see Elizabeth in the Nutcracker.

Saturday, we moved Jacob from his first apartment to another apartment on Saturday (after I had to buy a new battery for my truck...grrr).

Then yesterday we went to two church services, lunch at IHOP, the Nutcracker again, then our church Christmas party. Whew.

We have Bernie's store party tomorrow night, my office party Thursday night, and Nancy's office party Friday night. Woohoo!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
-merry-

I prefer the old locks. Once I had to take mine in because it had malfunctioned so the engine wouldn't start because it thought the key wasn't a key and someone was trying to break in. I don't know if it was the battery in the key or a security issue, but it cost me over $350.00 for a new key.

One time when I had a rental, I thought I lost the key and was looking all around the side of the car, retraced my steps to the store and then I realized it wasn't missing, it was just hiding. It was the kind that you puch the button to close it up like a pocket knife.

You've got a lot of parties on the go. Enjoy!

Single digits - WOWZERS!

At least I can say I am finished with the wrapping, etc. I delivered several today and O'Malley and I can almost walk about without being so careful.
