Aww....poor Henry! Hope he feels better soon. We have a lot of flu and viruses going around here too.Good morning all.
Well, Henry woke up sick this morning, so no school for use today. He is usually quick to get up in the morning, but while I was in the shower my wife went to see why he was not up after his alarm went off. The poor kid said he just did not feel good and then started coughing. He has a mild fever, the chills, cough, sore throat. So, since my school day was easier to adjust to having a sub, I stayed home with him. He is doing of, just clearly does not feel well. He is all curled-up on the couch in a blanket.
I am pretty sure that he got this from one of his friends who stayed the night on Saturday. He was home sick yesterday with strep and the croup. So, I think Henry is working towards that as well. However, there is a lot going around at the school right so who knows.
We will likely be home tomorrow because school will probably be cancelled. We are expecting temperatures to drop into the negatives tonight and not get above zero until tomorrow afternoon. The windchills are supposed to be between -20 and -35! Thursday might be another cancelled day because it will be almost as cold. Though it is suppose to get a little warmer on Thursday (up to single digits!) that will not happen until the afternoon. Then snow showers Thursday night into Friday! This might be a very short school week!
