Today's data:
Days to the Season: 260
Days to Christmas Day: 302

And there you have it - the DAY AFTER TOMORROW - we will be completely through with the 300's and ready to begin a double-200's count!

We got almost to the 60 degree mark yesterday, with no rain and less wind.
Today, we will reach into the low 60's and it should be dry/sunny.
This second morning of the work week has started here at 37 degrees.

Happy Tuesday....asking for prayers and well wishes. My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer a month ago or so and today he is having his radioactive seeds implanted into his liver. It is an outpatient procedure and minimally invasive. I am hoping he does not have too many side effects.

I will keep your Dad and the medical professionals treating him in prayer. Stay positive.

Hoping tomorrow is better for you. I feel for you. Most days I go 12 hours at work without eating too, let alone without sometimes barely sitting or a bathroom break at times, but I tell myself, that’s the work I chose, so I knew that going in!

I'm shocked! Shocked, that doctors and patients are demanding. Shocked they don't care about your basic needs...Hmmm, guess walking into that bolted door caused some damage...

Good evening! It’s been a busy day, busier than I thought it would be. We came home from all our appointments and I’ve been undecorating Valentine’s Day and winter, putting up spring/Easter and St. Patrick’s Day. I work this weekend and since March starts, I want to have all that up.

I have to make a trip back to the dentist coming up - I have a tooth the dentist has been watching for the last year or so. He took x-rays last time I was there and he said it still looked okay last time I was there, but then coloring looked darker and without new x-rays (since I wasn’t due for them this time), he figured I should just get it filled in case it is turning in to a cavity and becomes. I’m fine with that (even though I hate that place). I would rather them take care of it now though, then it become worse.

Just sitting down now and watching the Pens game and going to read. Praying for all who need it - so many of you need extra prayers right now. May God be with you and your families!

Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! I had to go to a Pre-Trial for a speeding ticket I got in January. It's ironic I went 15 years in a row without getting a speeding ticket and then suddenly within 3 months I got 2! I don't know what I am doing differently but I have been more cautious since the 2nd. Cop told me plead not guilty and they will work with me so I did. They took my points down from 6 and speeding to 2 and a lesser violation. Not saying I wasn't "guilty" but then again if you look at the actual speed limits and the actual speed 95% of people drive I think most of us are speeding technically almost every day. Anyway, off to work I go (driving a little slower). Have a great day!

Merry Pines Day MMC ~
It’s goimg to be cloudy today with a high of 28 degrees, we may get snow flurries this afternoon. Not too much going on here today, just a typical day. My youngest and her fiancé are in Atlantic City right now so I’ve been going to their apartment to take care of their kitty cat. I’ll be heading out to do that soon. Dinner will be spaghetti & chicken parm. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day!

Pleasantly warm yesterday for February and we reached 63 degrees by the afternoon with plenty of sun.
All that changes today, where we will be lucky to reach the upper 40's, with a pretty steady rain.
At this hour, we stand at 46 degrees here below an overcast sky, with a light rain falling.

Well, is it possible we have already reached the final 'Pines open house of February? The calendar says so, and so does Carl.
And in celebration of tomorrow being the 300-day point to Christmas, the 'Pines will be giving away a door prize worth $300 to the lucky drawer.
(Now. You don't want to miss that, do you?)

Could be. I think it depends on the area but also just a matter of timing. They also conveniently both times were waiting right at the point where your car starts going downhill so unless you hit the brakes immediately your speed is going to increase and they can catch you at that point.

Happy Pines Day! Thanks so much for all the well wishes..my Dad did really well with the procedure without too many side effects and felt good afterwards. I brought him home and stayed with him until about 9..I tried to get him to stay with me but he is too independent for that.. lol They gave him so meds if he needs them today. Work for me today and they are saying 2-4 inches of snow overnight. Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning, MMC! Happy Pines Day! Not much planned for today. Just going to finish decorating the house and some cleaning. DH works tonight, as DD is twirling at the Harlem Globetrotters game tonight. They are playing near us tonight. I would have loved to have went, but since DH is working and I can't drive (tickets were outrageous), I'm not going to go. Usually for those types of things, the twirler gets in free or the ticket is discounted, but her ticket was still $20, so for us to go, since my son would have to truck along too, it would have been $80.00. It wold have been hard to find someone to fit all of us in to their vehicle too, with all of our gear and everything. It stinks, but it's the way it is. No one said baton was cheap, that's for sure!
