TGIF!! This has felt like a very long week...so happy it is almost the weekend. I am sipping some coffee and reading emails. We don't have too many plans for the weekend. I need to catch up on some cleaning and laundry. Hope you all have a great day!

Days to Christmas Day: 292

One more deep breath......
OK, now we can examine the latest Milestone status:
The 1/3 marker Christmas Season 2019 will be here ONE WEEK FROM TODAY.
That's right.
In a scant seven days, we will be entering the SECOND quarter of our Season count.
(How about that, now!)

We made it into the low 50's for our high yesterday, with plenty of sun and calm winds.
Today may not see us quite to that point, and rain is predicted.
Tomorrow will see a repeat before we soar into the 70's for Sunday.
Our current reading shows 41 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

Good Saturday morning! I woke up around 4am and tried to get back to sleep but finally gave up around 5am and got up. I have the weekend off and really need it. But there’s a lot to do before I can relax. The weather will turn to snow and rain tomorrow so I’ll try to get all the grocery shopping done today. Wishing everyone a great day ahead!
 
Good morning MMC ~
It’s going to be sunny here today with temperatures in the low 40’s. I’m heading out soon to do some food shopping. Not too much else planned, I’ll just be working on some chores around the house and we’ll be watching a hockey game later tonight. Dinner will be meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and green beans. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Another weekend oasis has arrived, and right on schedule.
(Isn't that regularity wonderful? Whoever thought it up should get a medal!)

And speaking of rewards, give one to yourselves by reading today's briefing, starting with the count:
Days to the Season: 249
Days to Christmas Day: 291

Then, move on to our Milestone situation:
Our next pending marker is, as you must know by now, the ONE-THIRD point to the Season.
Its distance is now just 6 days hence. UNDER one week.
Then, the SECOND of three quarter begins.
(Wowie!)

Chilly yesterday, with some rain. Not a particularly pleasant day no matter how you look at it.
Today? A repeat of yesterday with less of a rain chance.
Tomorrow? Fantastic! Dry with temps in the low 70's.
(Hey. Mother Nature owes us one.)

Well, I hope your weekend is off to a great start and that you have a Sensational Saturday, Folks!

Morning MMC! We had some sleet/snow overnight. Not a lot. But now it's raining so I'm hoping most of it will wash away. But we still have snow from the storms from last week. But the week ahead looks much nicer. Spring-Like almost. Which is nice to see the last full week of winter. Have a great 23 Hour Day!
 
Merry Sunday!
It’s cool, breezy and raining here this morning. I’m just having my coffee and enjoying the peace and quiet, my husband and daughter are still asleep. I already straightened up and started laundry. I’m going to take a ride out at some point to get my mother a birthday gift, her birthday is in a couple of days. Other than that it should be a relaxing day. Dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good morning, friends. Hope everyone had a good week. It was good here. There was a couple of storms this week, but nothing to significant for us...just more rain.

Yesterday was a blast. We went to a marriage conference at our church and had a lot of fun. Last night, the family went out to eat. It was a great night.

Church today. Not sure what the weather will be, but I hope it will be warm. We hit 65 yesterday. I'd love to get outside and do some cleaning up. Hopefully, I will get to take the girls out.
