like I didn’t sleep at all last night, even though I did, but I kept tossing and turning. It will be a gorgeous sunny day with temperatures on the rise. In fact they predict highs above the freezing point for the rest of the week. David had his three-week-post-surgery checkup with his surgeon yesterday and everything is fine and he is thrilled that he can finally take his sling off. He has his first physio appointment today, it will be interesting to see how he feels afterwards. Hope you all enjoy a great day ahead!

I had a nice, uneventful afternoon yesterday. It was really nice.

I'll be out tomorrow, going to see Elizabeth compete at state competition.

Thursday is mama's surgery, so I'll be out then, too.

Got a nice surprise today, as the vacation policy was changed. Because of the amount of time I've been in this office, I now have 20 days of vacation instead of 15! So looking forward to that will help get through the long days.

Yes, we've reached the middle again. 'Pines Day, you know.

But before we discuss our favorite inn, we must first discuss the new numbers and their significance to our quest.

Days to the Season: 245
Days to Christmas Day: 287

And Guys, we are now perilously close to Milestone marker number 4 of 2019, the ONE-THIRD point to the Season.
It's the DAY AFTER TOMORROW in fact, after which the second of three thirds begins.
(Incredible that we have gone so far so soon, isn't it!)

Chilly yesterday morning and even chillier this morning, but our afternoon highs are quite pleasant. Today's is supposed to peak at 66 degrees as a prelude to 75 for tomorrow!
Currently, we are sitting at 43 degrees here, after a mid-30's start.

Well, is it possible that this evening's 'Pines open house will be the LAST one of winter?
Yep.
The first day of spring is one week from today and Carl can't wait to bring out and display his latest seasonal decor.
But that is next week. For now, enjoy the ski slopes and munching your fired twinkies by the warm glow of the inn's fireplace one last time.

So, until we see you there, have a truly Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

I’m heading out in a little bit, Rocky has his annual veterinarian appointment this morning. Not too much else going on, it will just be a typical day of errands and chores. I’m going to make spaghetti & chicken parmesan for dinner. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well!

Good afternoon, friends! Not much going on here. Enjoying the afternoon - getting caught up on my shows and reading. The dogs are sitting here relaxing with me and happily napping as well. Nothing really planned for this evening, which I love! Hope you're all having a great day!
