Happy March Mid-Week MMC! Today is Friday for me and I'm really going to try to rest with these days off. I don't have any other breaks (other than Memorial Day Weekend) till late June which seems far away right now. But late March seemed far away from New Years and yet here we are already. Have a great Wednesday, Pines Day and Mid-Week Everyone!

A Good After-Milestone Morning, Everybody.
And just like Christmas, our Milestone markers are either here or on the way.

We will examine the exciting news on our next TWO markers after the presentation of today's figures:
Days to the Season: 231
Days to Christmas Day: 273

Now Folks, April is special.
It is the only month of the year when we have two BACK-TO-BACK Milestone markers.
The first is the 1/3 point to Christmas day (April 26) and the second is the 200-day Season Window (April 27).
You read that right. TWO Milestones on SUCCESSIVE DAYS, the first of them being now LESS THAN A MONTH away!
Be here for the fun!

It cooled off here yesterday, with our high only reaching 56 degrees. Sunny though, with no rain.
Today will see us reach near 60, with mid 60's for tomorrow.
We open today with plenty of sun and a temperature reading of 35 degrees.

Final 'Pines open house of March, Folks. The month has disappeared faster than Carl's fired twinkies.
Our friendly activities director loves April and its flowers, and no doubt the inn will be all decked out to welcome the new season.
(You may not be aware that the 'Pines grows its own flowers at a state-of-the-art greenhouse right on the grounds!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Guys.
And try to make time to visit with us at the 'Pines this evening!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

My brother found some scrap angle iron that we're going to use to repair my golf cart's battery box. I'm planning to take the cart to his shop this afternoon.

Last night Elizabeth made a pot of taco soup that was "off the chain"! We took it to Bernie's to have a family dinner, and we ate the whole thing LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Merry Pines Day MMC!
We’re going to have sun & clouds today with highs near 44, we’re currently at 34 degrees. It will be a typical day of errands and chores plus I have an appointment to have my hair cut and colored later this afternoon. Dinner will be spaghetti & meatballs. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!!!
xx

Thanks Crown! Back to Back Milestones I love!

Good Tuesday morning! Beautiful sunshine this morning and temperatures will be on the rise again. Yesterday we finally got around to buying new Summer tires for the car (Winter tires will need to be replaced as well this Fall). A big chunk of change at once but I will get a yearly bonus at work on the same day that I have to pay for the tires and their installation, so it won't affect our budget. Have a wonderful day everyone!

Enjoy the rest of your day off; you'll get through tomorrow and be off again.

Your daughter is doing great; I hope the team isn't too disappointed in having to try harder to advance.

I'd like to take up juggling again; gave up before I mastered the third cube.

Thanks, Auntie!

A Merry Milestone Morning to Everyone throughout the great MMC Nation.
The entire, first quarter of our trip back to Christmas is now complete!

Days to the Season: 232
Days to Christmas Day: 274

What incredible Milestone markers will the second quarter bring, I wonder?
We will begin that exploration tomorrow morning about this same time.
(Until then, just relax with a fired twinkie and some iced tea.)

We had another real nice day yesterday, with no rain until late afternoon/evening, then more overnight.
Today will be about 15 degrees cooler but it comes with a lesser chance of precipitation.
This second day of the work week has commenced at 46 degrees here, still overcast and wet.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, Folks!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!

I had a friend growing up who was born on Boxing Day and thought she was getting stiffed on presents, but actually, from my perspective she was showered more to prove she wasn't being neglected; the trick was she sometimes had to celebrate her birthday with her schoolmates before Christmas and then would have a family party on her day.
