Good morning ~
Merry Thursday!
I’m heading to the gym in a couple of minutes, just waiting for my daughter to get ready. Not too much going on here today, it will be a typical day of daily chores. I also have to to take a ride to the mall at some point. I finally found a dress for the party we have to attend tomorrow night, now I’m looking for a pair of shoes. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!
xx

Morning MMC! I'm off these 4 days so I'm really trying to enjoy and rest some too. After this I only plan to be off on Memorial Day in the next 12 weeks. Then I'll take a few summer breaks. For now, we have a chilly morning here but the sun is out and the temps are heading up. Have a great Friday Eve!
Enjoy that nice long weekend!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I woke up WAY too early this morning. I looked at the clock ten times between 4:00 and 4:15, so I got up and watched Star Trek for a couple hours. Now I feel like I could go to sleep, but my work day is just starting. *yawn* You'd think that @Binger would have some coffee ready!

I took our golf cart to my brother's shop yesterday afternoon, but before we could start working on it, Nancy called with a list of things that simply HAD to be done before the sun set. Maybe this afternoon.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning, Folks.
We continue through the rolling year and on toward our next PAIR of Milestones.
Back-to-back, they are!
And we will examine them after the relase of today's data briefing.

Days to the Season: 230
Days to Christmas Day: 272

Yes Guys, late April here at MMC is quite unique.
Milestones on two seccessive days, April 26 and 27.
The former: The ONE-THIRD point to Christmas Day.
The latter: The 200-DAY SEASON WINDOW.
Fun and frivolity in the year's fourth month.
Be here!

Still coolish yesterday but that is about to change, as we reach 66 today, 74 tomorrow and 76 on Saturday, with limited rain chances.
(Can't wait!)
Our present temperature observation is 37 degrees, but we've got lots of sun to keep us warm.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Friends!

Good morning, everyone! Not too much planned here today. I have my niece after lunchtime. Today is opening day for baseball, so I plan on watching the Pirates play and my sister wants to go shopping this evening as well. That’s my only plans.

Hope you all have a great day!

Ok ok who played “ rocking robin” 37 straight times on the Pines Juke Box? Not cool! Yabba!
The ghost of **** Robin?

That was me - oh yeah - Robins are my sign of Spring and well, I once charged kids in the neighbourhood a nickel to hear me sing it using my tennis racket as a guitar. I wasn't any good, but they were too young to know.

And I bet I know who spiked the hot tub with Mr. Bubble! Yabba!

Well actually it was a bunch of Pop Rocks mixed with RC Cola - haha - the cat made me do it.

I couldn't get back to sleep after 3:00 and finally realized it at 4:00 so I got up early too. Maybe it's Spring Fever. I'm tuckered out now, but I don't want to go to bed yet 'cause I will be up early again.

The cat was fine with it; he's always bored during the night waiting for some activity. He heard us chatting and came to join in the conversation and persuade us to start the morning ritual early.

I'm starting to feel the like I'm riding a roller coaster trying to make it through this week; hey, tomorrow is Friday - we'll get there.

You'll have to snap a shot of that golf cart after it's all fixed up. It would be neat to decorate it for a Christmas parade and toss an Elf in there.

Good Friday morning! I have an unexpected day off because I am now working this weekend, following the early and also unexpected departure of one of my colleagues on sick leave before she gives birth to her first child. She is at 33 weeks and on Wednesday, her doctor decided that she should be resting at home for the remainder of her pregnancy. She is doing well and we're pulling for her little guy to keep growing inside of her for as long as possible (she's dilated 1cm and her baby is already turned head down and moving quite a lot).

Today I am taking part in a luncheon to say goodbye to a former colleague who is now retiring. I worked with him for 7 years and in the last year, he had missed quite a few months because of a hernia. Finally he has decided that his health comes first and he is retiring. He also plans on getting married for the first time in his life. I suspect this will be a very emotional day for him, as he is so beloved by everyone at my former store.

Hope everyone will enjoy a wonderful day!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

I hate to keep bragging about our weather, but GOSH! It's another beautiful day here in Bellville, GA! I know; soon enough, it'll be 100°F and 100% humidity, but for now this is wonderful.

I went to Jim's shop for a while yesterday to work on the golf cart, but his welder needed more repairs than the cart, so I didn't get much done.

Tomorrow morning, Mom and I are leaving at 5AM going to her place in the NC mountains to install an alarm system and replace all of the sheets and pillows I threw away after the crack-heads broke into the place. It'll be another 5.5 hour there, and 5.5 hour back day on Saturday. Elizabeth has to be in Savannah at 7AM on Sunday for a dance competition, so I'll have to get up early again. I'm already yawning, thinking about it.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good Morning, Eve Extraordinaires.

The Eve of the Weekend. Can we really be here again so soon?
Well, the calendar says so, therefore it must be true.

But what else does the calendar tell us?
Well......some rather interesting things, starting with this:
Days to the Season: 229
Days to Christmas Day: 271

It, in conjunction with our count chart, also informs us in no uncertain terms, that next month will bring us not one, but TWO Milestone markers and that they will be back to back!
Coming up in 28 days - four weeks from today - the 1/3 point to Christmas.
The very next day - four weeks from tomorrow - we will be at the 200-day Season Window and the threshold of a 100's level Season count.
Let that sink in, now. ONE HUNDRED's level!
(The year is fleeing before our very eyes.)

Pleasant here yesterday, with only a very light jacket required by afternoon.
Today will see us climb into the 70's for a 2-day visit with spring before the 30's return for Sunday and Monday nights.
Right now, it is 50 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!

Thanks Crown! No offense to that 1/3 marker but the 200-day window to me is such a HUGE milestone to look forward to!

Merry Friday!! My youngest daughter came home yesterday from school with a fever and a cold. I gave her some ibuprophen and that seemed to work but then she woke me up at 3 and it spiked again so she is home today. Hopefully it is a quick virus. We don't have too many plans for the weekend. Hope you all have a great day!
