We have more flood warnings for my neck of the woods. The creek seems to be running at the usual level. It's more of a concern for the outskirts, farms and cottage areas.
I haven't been well for the last 6 days; time to see someone about it; I don't catch "bugs" or viruses; I have a strong immune system, but I have to go back to work and my bowels are telling me otherwise.
Happy Pines Day!
I feel your pain. We were about to celebrate our 11th year of no lost-time accidents here (it's the best record in the company), when one of our guys hurt himself. It wasn't very bad, but it was enough that he couldn't work for a couple days. We had already ordered the plant-wide safety awards and a catered dinner. Ugh.Good Tuesday evening! I worked the afternoon/evening shift and can’t settle my mind yet to go to sleep. I got a call from our District Manager tonight asking me about a health and safety point that stores have lost during audits and I am frustrated to see that they are adding procedures that they never taught us or that are not written anywhere in our program and I’m having to scramble to fix things at the last minute. Hopefully I’ll calm down soon enough and go to sleep. Thank you for letting me rant.
And I hope everyone is well and has enjoyed a nice day.
Thanks Crown! Happy May!Good Morning, MMC Citizens!
We are approaching one of our very top, important Milestones.
But, first, consider this:
Days to the Season: 196
Days to Christmas Day: 238
TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY.
<< What, Crown? >>
We arrive at the HALF-WAY marker to Christmas Season 2019.
<< Did you say HALF, Crown?? >>
Indeed I did, little voice. Indeed I did.
(Mark your calendars for May 15, Folks!)
Quite warm here yesterday, with our high reaching 86 by the afternoon.
Still not uncomfortable though, as our late spring/summer type humidity has yet to hit.
Today and on through Friday will see us continue in the 80's, with little chance of rain.
Our mid-week temperature stands at 66 degrees here, currently.
Pines Day! It's here again, and spring has fully sprung at our inn of choice!
Carl is feeling chipper (good) and experimental (maybe not so good).
But if you are feeling guinea pig like, try his latest blend concoctions.
Who knows? You might be pleasantly surprised!
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Friends!
Check this out. Should answer your question. What is Pine's day?
Thanks Crown! Time sure does go by quick when its rain soaked! (My attempt at sarcasm..lol)Good Morning, MMC Citizens!

It's amazing how much more and more we're going to see of that over these next 4 months as opposed to the last 4 months. I am so excited already for the Bers!Look what I found at Hobby Lobby tonight.
