Thanks Crown! Happy Last Pines Day of Spring!Good Morning, Center-Weekers.
Yes, Folks. We are at the weekly summit, with the 'Pines Day open house to look forward to this evening.
But we are getting ahead of ourselves.
Let's inspect today's numbers, then look at the Milestone situation.
After that, we can get to Carl and crew.
Days to the Season: 147
Days to Christmas Day: 189
EXACTLY ONE WEEK.
That how much longer we've got to wait for the HALF WAY marker to Christmas Day. And it isn't long, my pretties. It isn't long. We can't wait forever to get our hands on the second half of the count!
Rather warm and humid yesterday which is why I got an early morning start on mowing the lawn. Rain was also predicted as a possibility for the aftenoon but I saw nothing more than a brief sprinkle, although we did get some overnight.
Today will be cooler but it comes with an 80 percent chance of more precipitation.
At this hour, we show 74 degrees here on our thermometer.
Well, alright then. It's Wednesday. (Or Hump Day, as Carl prefers to call it.)
This may be the final 'Pines Day of spring, but you would never know it at our inn of choice. Our friendly activities director has really done a wonderful transformation job on the place and it's all decked out for the summer season, with tonight's theme being "spring forward into summer".
Come on by this evening and enjoy the entertainment, which is always top quality.
(And - if you're feeling experimental - try one of Carl's new beverage blends!)
Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everybody!
That's too bad Bradmac. I told you the Lincoln Tunnel was an adventure unto itself.Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!
I turned in the rental car yesterday afternoon, and I'll have to pay for a repair. I don't think I mentioned that, as soon as we emerged from the Lincoln Tunnel in NY, the car behind me tried to pass in heavy traffic and scrubbed the back bumper of our car. The driver never looked at me, and never acknowledged that he had hit our car. It wasn't bad, but Enterprise Rental zeroed in on the scratch and said they would be in touch with my insurance company. Great.
It's going to be another hot, muggy day with rain later this afternoon. I have to mow the lawn!
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Prayers for all in the flash flood warning areas!
How fun the kids are going to STEM camp!
Praying you are better, Sugar! xx
Happy Pines Day!!
I am enjoying some coffee and typical work day for me. I am hoping for some less rain today. My oldest daughter starts driver's ed tonight. We have been out driving a few times but it is a bit scary..lol Hope you all have a great day!!

You're such an authoritarian....Good morning all! Not much planned for today. Kids are at camp until 12:00, then DS has a follow-up with the orthopedic regarding his wrist, hoping his fracture is looking better. He'll get his wrist re-xrayed and if looking well, he'll get a soft wrist on for 2 weeks or if not, he'll have to get the hard cast back on. I can guarantee if he get the hard cast back on, mom is going to be very strict! LOL.
Hope you all have a great day! See you at the Pines later on!
Soooo, she gets her math skills from mister? Thanks, Meceka! Luckily, it hasn't rained as much here as it was supposed to, but if you pull up the forecast, it continues to look crappy almost every day ahead for the next 10 days still.
It is fun, yes! DD especially loves STEM. It just became a bigger thing in this area a few years back and she is so good in every subject in school (which makes me so proud)! Math I wasn't so hot in, she is a math wiz, so she loves that kind of stuff. She is really enjoying it!
