Just realized it’s my 11th MMC anniversary! Doesn’t seem so long ago.

For some reason I thought you had been here longer than I have, but my anniversary date is 1/17/08(seasonal withdrawal brought me here)...and no, I can't hardly believe the twelve year mark is just around the bend.

Yep. Old Bing and I have been around a long time.
After I proposed the idea of a Season count to accompany our Christas Day count all those many years ago, it was Binger who provided the enthusiastic support that gave me the confidence to proceed forward with it. I will be forever in your debt, Twin-O.

I just noticed that Friday will be my 13th MMC anniversary. I will be spending it up at the Minneapolis Holiday Boutique. My 3rd year going with the wife. It's at US Bank Stadium. It's always a great time and this year my soon to be DIL and granddaughter will be joining us.

Good to hear the news about your cousin-in-law; remember to take care of yourself - Christmas is on the way.

He was released from the hospital this afternoon, so we went and got him. He has pain, especially during the bumpy car ride home, but he is climbing stairs and walking quite well.

Greetings everyone! Checking in after a LONG hiatus. Family stuff but all good! I don't even know what the special posts are, but I'm looking forward to it! Also I see that I forgot when "the season" starts. For some reason I thought it was November 1st!

Anyway, looking forward to TRYING HARD to be more active during the season and beyond.

Snowberry was a special lady who always ended her posts by thanking Jesus for one thing or another.

I have two of her novels.

I wasn’t on Christmas Talk a lot, but I really enjoyed reading Snowberry’s posts and I loved that special way she ended them. I’m sorry to learn of her passing.

I have to confess, I have some inside information on that ... there IS magic involved.

If you ever have the good fortune to visit the Magic Castle in L.A.,* there's a piano in one corner that's roped off and appears to play by itself. Actually, it's Invisible Irma. If you approach and compliment her, she'll respond on the piano. If you make a request, she can usually play it. And if you put a tip in her tip jar, she immediately plays "We're In the Money"!

Invisible Irma's twin, Irene, was looking for an easier gig a while back (she was playing in a bar on Long Island, last I heard), so I bet she got the nod from Carl to play at the 'Pines. (Did you feel like someone was right behind you when you played?) Be sure to put a few coins in the tip jar and request as many Christmas tunes as possible! And, Auntie, I'm sure she'll move over any time you want to play, or direct your fingers as she did last night.

*It's a professional magicians' club; you have to be escorted by a member to get in. It's an amazing place.

I did; it was strange, I felt like I was being sucked into the mattress - I think I had Crown-I-ticis - haha; Binger knows what I'm talkin' about - that was a major role for Crown in nearly every Opera.

I stayed up until 10:00 and manged to stay in bed until 4:30 and feel more spunky today.

I'll be on here late on the 12th to great the 13th as I booked the 13th off last spring to make sure I was available to stay up with the "big people" as I used to refer to grown-ups as a child.

Happy November TGIF MMC! Unreal another Friday huh? It's been an interesting week. I hope today goes ok. I'm looking forward to just being with Rollins this weekend. Oh and the special posts! Have a great November TGIF!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Nancy and I had pancakes and sausage for dinner last night. It was a fundraising dinner for the local Christian charities group, and it was awesome! I'm still full. Whew.

Tonight we're going out to a fancy restaurant in Savannah. Yay. I'm more of a big, honkin' Italian lasagna than a small-serving, which-fork-do-I-use-for-this kind of guy. But, that's where Nancy and Elizabeth want to go, so I have to find a tie in my overstuffed closet. Ah, the things I do for the women in my life LOL.

We're also talking about going to see Elf The Musical in Savannah the Saturday after Thanksgiving. That'll be a hoot!
