Good Morning folks.
Feels funny not to be posting the count, but relaxing, too!

I hope everyone is still continuing to enjoy Christmas Season 2019.
Both of my nieces are visiting my sister and me along with my 10-month-old great nephew. He's lots of fum but quite demanding!
Thanks Crown for everything this year. Happy 365 shopping days till Christmas!

Happy 365 shopping days till Christmas MMC! What a Christmas it's been. I have to tell you the last week was about as good as it ever has gotten for us. I don't know why but everything just seemed to go well and everything seemed to fit. I'm so happy with it. And yeah it's the "day after" but not here. It's the new beginning. Have a great 365 shopping days till Christmas (yes I started my 2020 Christmas shopping list on amazon last night by adding a gift)!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

We had a WONDERFUL Christmas! The kids got new TVs for their college apartments, and I got that golf driver I've been wanting! Nancy's sister gave her diamond earrings, which she loved.

I was planning to be off work the rest of this week for a trip to the mountains, but family scheduling has pushed it out to the first of next week, so I'm currently one of the few at my desk.

I've eaten so much the last few days, I'm actually looking forward to my apple for lunch LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning all!
I slept in today until 9:30. That is really rare for me to do. But I guess the last few days of very little sleep finally caught up with me. I am still such a kid on Christmas Eve, I simply cannot sleep through the night.

This morning is relaxing, not much going on. A little afternoon we are heading to the last Christmas for the season with my wife's family.

The next couple of days are going to be spent rearranging Henry's room. He want to change his decor a bit and he needs some shelves and such for some collectibles he has and wants to display. Not a fun project, but a necessary one.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning, MMC!! Well the pickings are pretty slim out there this morning. Walmart did restock some stuff though so I got 6 of the trees that I wanted and a couple reindeer along with 2 signs. Dollar General still had the Santa was eyeing before Christmas but CVS was out of all of their smaller ones. I sure was tempted by the 5 foot one though. He was gorgeous. I definitely have no where to store him though. Mom sounds even worse than before so she’s going to the doctor this afternoon. So that’s another round of stores to hit on the way. I hope everyone has a great day!!

I went to Walgreens this morning. It's only a block away. They had all their candy 50% off. When I'm too lazy to make desserts from scratch to our Friday card games, I take candy, fruit, nuts, and cheese. I bought enough candy to last a few months, maybe more. Dove comes in red heart-shaped wrappers, so I'll save those for Valentine's Day.

Stay safe on the roads.

Went to Meijer a little bit ago to check out the Christmas stuff on sale. Everything was 50% off. I picked up a few things. A nice Santa "doll" to add to the collection. A couple rolls of Santa wrapping paper, a few gift bags, and some kitchen towels. My main grab was 11 boxes of LED netlights (warm white random twinkle). Those are for my roof next year. The last couple of years I have used single strands to line the roof, but the wind really causes from problems keeping the lines straight. So, I decided to try net lights and see if that helps.

And just like that...it's over. Well, I know some of us stretch it out. We try to do the same, also. However, it is just different after the big day passes.

Goodness, have I got a mess. Cleaning, decluttering, and cooking are on today's agenda. Over the next few days, I plan on watching every Star Wars and football game that comes on!

I know what you mean. It’s over. I always feel like Ralphie when he discovered Annie’s secret message was a crummy commercial every December 26th. Oh well time to break out the Happy New Year greetings. Eight months and one week until the Bers.

We had a low key, wonderful Christmas! The whole family had our traditional Christmas Eve meal out before worship. Our daughter's crew headed straight to church after chow, but the remainder of us dashed home, brought the presents out of the their hiding place, parked them under the tree, and scooted to the service. The stockings filled up overnight...

Morning MMC! Everybody in the house is suffering with the Tanzania cowering bird flu or whatever it is we all caught again. Had a great Christmas and started shopping for new Christmas decorations last night.
I hope y'all get better soon!

Hearing you talk about your kids in college makes me feel old. I can remember them being in like grade school when I started coming here. LOL.

Good morning all and Merry Christmas! Wow - what a morning it's been here and truly, what a several days it's been. DD has had the flu (influenza). That's one of the main reasons I haven't been checking in. She has had the flu shot, but unfortunately we've found already that the shot isn't being very effective and we've had a lot of positive swabs. She was around someone last weekend who was positive and then got it. She had fever for almost 6 days, but now is finally on the mend. We had to reschedule DH's family Christmas, not do our normal Christmas Eve outings, and not attend mass as well, but today has been so far so good. I feel bad for her - she was sad about it, but I reminded her it was for everyone safety and to make sure no one else got sick.

I hope you're all well and are enjoying time with your family! I wish you all a blessed holiday and Merry Christmas! I am so blessed beyond words, am thankful for a beautiful family, and health. Jesus is the reason for the season. DH is working until later today, until my family comes, so I'm sure I'll be checking in. The kids and I are just hanging out right now and watching Christmas movies.

Sounds like yall had a great one, friend. Hope your daughter is on the upswing!

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for my brother Ralph. He passed away this morning. I don't remember if I told you, but this site meant a lot to him and all of you were in his prayers. Again, thank you so much!

Oh, Meceka, I’m so sorry. God rest his soul.
