Was sad to hear that Pavoratti had passed away..... I always wanted him to sing one of my arias..... which reminds me- A WORLD DEBUT coming up in the next few days..... a worthy event inspires me.....

Places everyone.. places.......... Cedar- get the wig out.. Crown- wake up... Iron- put the house lights up.. sandy- count down.. Renn.. wake up Crown... everyone...

Back in action guys!!! What a trip...Laguardia in NYC to Chicago to Minneapolis to Chicago to Cleveland to Laguardia in two and a half days...But I had luch at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame today...Mecca for music junkies like me...What a place...I was in Cleveland working but took my lunch...and...maybe a little extra...a little...and walked the joint...All I can say is, what a place...what a place...

Let me add my name to the list of those saddend at the death of Pavarotti...I saw him back in the mid eighties(on the same weekend that I saw Judas Priest...) and he was AMAZING. The greatest voice of all time in my humble opinion...I was hoping to get the chance to see him again, but alas, too late...God bless you Lucianno...You truly blessed us...If you've not heard his Christmas album it is well worth the price...A sad day in the music world...a really sad day...

I'm thrilled to be back...each time I passed one of those airport kiosk computer thingys I thought of you guys...I missed you all!

Welcome back Jay, the place was quiet without you.
Boy am I glad to be home tonight and out of Penneys, it was so busy today and I didn't have a helper until I left. They sent me one as I was leaving the registers. I told her that she had to help my relief as I was out of there. Sure feel sorry for them as I was only able to put about a dozen garments away that were left in the dressing rooms and returns. Was hardly able to get away from registers and had to call stockers and managers to help at registers but when they were done they left. Suppose I will have a lot of clothes to put away tomorrow. Oh well. All in a days work.

Was a beautiful day today, nice and cool this morning and only got in the 80's. I can handle that for awhile, but closer it gets to Christmas the more I want snow, in the mountains.

67 days to the Season
109 days to Christmas Day.

Good Morning!

Well - time to go back to bed to rest up for Binger's next opera installment.
Will there be hammock space set up in the audience?
Will the aroma of mountain-blend coffee be piped into the building?
Only our opera guru knows for sure.

Have a Fabulous Friday, guys!

Today is Friday, September 07, 2007. We have 109 days until Christmas!
We have 2602 hours until Christmas!
We have 156115 minutes until Christmas!
We have 9366876 seconds until Christmas!

We are almost in the double digits! Can you believe it? Where has the year gone?

I really need to get posting. I don't even have 20 on this new forum yet. I had over 1000 at Christas.com, and I think about 700 at The Christmas Place. Well, I'll catch up.

Keep counting everyone! And Binger, I am anxiously awaiting the next Opera!

Oooooooooooooooooooooh! I didn't realize it when I posted, but we are now below 10 millions seconds! That's a milestone, isn't it? :)

Yep Cedar, we do have those beautiful rolling mountains and when the snow flies they are even better.
I can't wait until it is time to go get our tree. We go high, up,up,up, to the top. The best are up there, we usually either get a noble fir or doug fir. If the snow isn't to deep we go up Diamond lake way. There are lots of great trees up that way, but then we have lots here also. Guess we just like to go and look at the country side in all its glory.
As I sit here, I can just imagine how it will be, we will take a big picnic lunch with lots of hot cocoa and spiced cider. We will have about 5 or more pick em up trucks full of our families and friends. When we get off the beaten path we get out in the back of the pick ups and start caroling as we go. As we go we watch for our special tree areas that we all like to go to and the search is on. We take the better part of the day getting that many trees. We have a bon fire going to get nice and warm by to go back looking again, When all the trees are found out comes the food. We roast hot dogs, heat up chili and what ever else and put on the water for the hot cocoa and hot spiced cider. After our meal is done, we have a big snowball fight and go tubing. Its quite the day. When evening comes we head down the mountain, a caroling as we go and head for home.
The next day we get together at various houses and decorate the trees. We make the best of the whole weekend. Then its time to start putting the presents under the trees. Oh I can hardly wait.
OH Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree. Can hardly wait to decorate thee.

Wow, Renn! What a great Christmas tradition!

Good Morning, Christmas friends.
Sleepy Crown is up early this morning since it promises to be a busy day.

66 days to the Season
108 days to Christmas Day.

It's a very pleasant 69 degrees outside at this hour.
Shouldn't be overly hot or humid today.

We are keeping a weather eye on Gabrielle off our coast.
We could really use the rain but hope she does not develop high winds!

I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start and that you have a Stupendous Saturday.
Keep that Christmas flame lit wherever you go today.

Oh Renn! That sounds just like a movie, it's so perfect!! Can I come too? So much better than going to Home Depot and picking a tree the day after Thanksgiving! Nothing like breathing that fresh mountain air, seeing those tall stately Douglas Firs, having a roaring fire in the snow...and why is it that food tastes so much better in the wilderness? (not to mention the COFFEE!!)

Hi Sandy! Good to see you...A Bing OPERA is in the making as we speak. I have a feeling about this one...a great work of art.

Have a marvelous Saturday everyone....try to stay awake Crown, it's a beautiful fall day outside.

Thanks Renn~ for giving me my first smile of the day!

The OPERA will debut tomorrow- depending upon the storm that is brewing... just like COFFEE brews.. OMG coffee..what a delight ( my own private nightmare.... losing power like we did with Hurricane Isabelle NO COFFEE for Three days...... None... OMG... sob....)

belated Birthday to Cedar....

Happy Birthday to you.....
Happy Birthday to you....
HappY Birthday Dear Cedar
Crown should not sleep so much...

( sorry.. couldn't resist)

XOXO....Thanks Bing....XOXO

OMG! I feel your pain, no coffee for 3 days? NO WAY! Did you make up for it later and eat an entire can of grounds? hehehe

I was comatose.. crawling on the pavement-sucking java beans...banging on Starbucks door....
