Thanks for this!
Wow the holiday season is coming right
around the corner!

I know what you mean about the crisp air. At night it gets rather cool here....The season will be here before we know it!

Wow I've been gone a couple days and this forum really boogied, Had to read all to catch up. Trying to get things ready for the wedding come Sunday. Time is really going by fast now.

Oh Bing, did I miss the coffee? Sorry it was on you, hope you got a good hot bath to get it all off before it dried. Hope it wasn't to hot. Hee hee. Next time its on you, Ill be there with my trusty mug. Remember my mug is a 3 cupper.

Weather here has cooled considerable, thank goodness. Still no frost or snow though.

Er...... Thanks, Auntie.

Rise and shine, Christmas fanatics!
We have reached the summit of the week and the view to the weekend looks beautiful. I can almost see all the way to Christmas!

55 days to the Season
97 days to Christmas Day.

A very comfortable 62 here in Raleigh at this hour. Light jacket weather.
The high should be about 80 and the humidity not too high.
It's a nice time of the year to be in these parts - early fall and mid spring are usually the best.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday / Happy Hump Day, guys!

GOOD MORNING!!!

~Had an emergency at the ol' homestead last Sunday..just before coming in for the evening. My wire fox terrier, "BIX", had a freak accident...he got impaled by a hook when he ran (ALWAYS running) under a hay wagon left here by the farmer who rents our hay field. Scrappy and very impulsive, these little terriers are unbreakable...but I found him lying on his side next to the wagon with a deep gash. A race against the clock to find emergency care on Sunday evening....but we did and stayed up most of the night waiting for the surgery results. He made it through without problems, but ohhh, it scary. That's him in my avatar, he is my little muffin cake and I'm way too attached to him!!

CONGRATS Crownster on making that 100 posts! Yeah! Here's to 100~ one more once!!!!

Hey. At least we got to see Bix 3 times.
Sorry to hear about the accident but glad he came through OK.
I'll bet he and Fox would get along great.

Good late Wednesday morning all! I havent been here in a few days so this is late, but I still have to say it, we are finaly in double digits on our countdown! I'm listening to MMC radio, and this coming Sunday is the last calendar day of summer. I'm feeling the season get ever so closer. This year it seems to be going by so fast, I hope it really slows down the week of T-giving.

OMG is that one cute dog...... no jokes here..

but here is a joke... why is Crown never running under hay wagons?
A: because they're asleep in the hay wagon..

badda bing badda binger....

Hay, now! (Chuckle)
I'll have you know I've done some of my best sleeping under hay wagons!

Thank God Cedar...I'd be a basket case...Glad he's better!!! Hello, Hello, Hello to all my Christmas buds...Took a quick trip to Atlantic City this morning for a trade show...Almost thirty years after they OK'd casino gambling there and much of it is still REALLY dumpy...Now I know why Baltic and Mediteranean are so cheap in Monopoly...SHEESH...But back safely and had to say a quick hello...It's about a two and a half hour trip each way....So I've listened to Christmas music for about five hours already today...I wonder if the other drivers can detect my Christmas spirit as I fly down the highways and byways of New Jersey with a big fat grin on my face...Christmas music makes me lose my edge though...I just did'nt have it in me to give the guy who cut me off the finger whilst Bing was singing such lovely songs...Pretty soon they might start calling me "calm"...Well...Maybe not...

*OMG* I'm laughing my grass off...err...yeah, that'll work!!

HAYBaddaBing! HAYCrownster! HAYJAY!!! (HayJay, sounds like KOJO,...you know, that 'whatever' E entertainment gossip troll? I digress...)

Hay wagon is GONE. Rusty iron thingey is CUT OFF. BIX is A-OK! Who wants a hay ride?

:-? If the hay wagon is gone, where do ride in the hay, Cedar?

Glad your pooch is okay. My cat Shamus died one winter (didn't find him until Spring), somehow he got impaled under a camper trailer next door. I'm glad Bix got help quickly.

Monopoly. I always wanted to be the horse.

We got one or two board games every year from dear ol' Santa.
