Will someone pleassssee turn the AC up on HIGH? Already 93 here this am and climbing to the 100s... hot hot hot.... hey I sound like Buster Poindexter... hot hot hot.. whatcha think? hey Cedar........ hot hot hot... Jay... hot hot hot.. Scrooge.. hot... hot.... hot..... Crownster... zzz, zzz, zzz... Off to get a refill on the iced coffee...... fifth cup today... not even tired this AM..not sure why... but I'm not... maybe it's because I'm hot.. hot .. hot.....
 
Bad coffee? Is there any such thing as bad coffee? I think not! Please refrain from such thoughts Crown? i mean.. is there any such thing as a bad mattress? A bad pillow? Bad sominex?.... hot.. hot....hot......

Yes I have had bad coffee, pillow & mattress. Nothing like craving a good cup of coffe & not getting it
 
I will second that... I detest Starbuck coffee... please dont hate me for saying this but its rank!

Detest Starbucks...I'm speechless...And I thought I was gonna like you too...

It's definitely a matter of taste...In 1992 I was living in California and had just discovered Starbucks and LOVED it...I brought a pound of coffee home with me when I came for Christmas...I made a big ol' pot on Christmas Morning...Nobody would touch it...Some of them like it now...But at the time they were mad at me for making this "crap" in the only coffee maker my Mom had...I've said it before...I've heard critics call Starbucks burnt, too strong, bitter...I really like it though...I guess maybe I stll like you Janabanana...Just watch your step or I'll have Juan Valdez and his burro come stay at your house for an extended visit!!!

Heresey I tell ya.. a scarlett S on all of you... bad coffee? There is no such thing as bad coffee..... there are only bad habits.. like sleeping too much...

Hey Scrooge- I agree- bring on some cooler temps- say in the upper 90s.... thatw ould be a major cold front....
 
Thank you for not banning from the Merry Forums :) I prefer hot vanilla tea with cream and sugar myself...
I did get a new Kitchen Aide coffee grinder that I grinde up Vanilla Coffee beans with on the weekends to enjoy with hubby...

Walked the beach today....so lovely, no...make that AWESOME...Lake Michigan..hot, yeah, but a breeze that saved. Found so many flat stones in various colors, I'm thinking of making a pebble driveway...bada bing!! Bada bam!!!

Hey Crownster, how did that garden turn out for your nieces? I think my pumpkins are going to be record-breakers this year. Discovered one this morning that was the size of a small garage... Groovy, a groovy kinda thing!
 
I drink tea too!!! I'm an equal opportunity beverage connoseur...I'm not all bad...But I do love coffee...In the old days I was an Irish Coffee fanatic...Now I just skip the Irish...And trust me...we're all better off!!! ;)
 
remember the other post with the trumpet recipe? Thats something else you can use the Bailey's for

Good and bad.
The corn and tomatos did real well. (Nothing like a fresh, home-grown tomato!). But rabbits got the carrots and the potato plants only produced one potato!

Nice of you to remember and ask!
