Haagarr - Nice way to begin The Season. Mine is 10 Dec, The Season is well under way be then. I've always enjoyed having a birthday with all those special decorations around, even now that I'm much older.
Good Monday morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We finally got some much needed rain here and the tempertures have dropped to a more resonable 90! I started with my fall decorations here inside dh thinks Im a little touched ......but I do so enjoy it! Have a great week!
Good afternoon! I brought home some (or is it all? lol) of my fall decorations from my parent's house last night. Not sure when I should start putting them out. Maybe in moderation, little by little until September? Already have some fall stuff around though
77 days to the Season.
119 days to Christmas Day.
Getting closer and closer.
It was a bit cooler here yesterday but still warmish.
An early head's up.
The Crowns are off to the coast for the 3-day Labor Day weekend and a countdown volunteer is needed.
Your chance for fame and fortune.
Well, maybe just fame.
Er..... or maybe just something to do.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, my fellow Christmas travelers!
Don't forget to slow down and smell the coffee - just don't drink any of the stuff.
Sleep. You can drink coffee in your dreams.
You got it! The Count! "One More Once"....Great music. I recently enjoyed hearing the beautiful "Fantasy Impromptu" by Chopin...makes you stop what you are doing and listen.
I woke up this morning to catch the Lunar eclipse, but I got up too early (5:00) because the moon looked like an OLIVE. It was magical...so very quiet and the clouds were moving real slow past the moon. I decided to go back to bed though.
Just thought I'd stop in early to say hello. Lot's of chores today. I'll try to stop in later.
The song I have playing in the background: Vince Guaraldi Trio - Charlie Brown - 01 - O Tannenbaum
The Peanuts characters and music sure do bring back memories. I remember before video recorders, (I think I do.) and having to try to plan when the Christmas show would be on so I could be home to see it with my three sons. Boy, those were the days.
