OMG Yes jay.. Bruce is pure religion....

~Ohhh Hi Sweet Bing....gosh, people are already sick of seeing my name on here...been on too much today...but, I love you crazy nuts.

took some great Christmas books out of the library (East Lansing Library ROCKS!) Older red books with that wonderful library book smell, those old paper smells with great graphics.

If anyone saw me in the library sniffing those old books...oh my...but, I can say without a doubt that I have friends who understand..yes. And, ohhhhhhhhh, I am in THE Christmas mood right now, this is MY time...if you know what I mean. And I know you do...

Hey Rennster! How's it going?

Goodnight my dear friends, sleep tight.

Wake up!
It's a Fabulous Fair Friday, Folks!

Crisp! The temp was only 51 when I got up this morning.
The high should be about 70. Beautiful!

My father is out of town for a couple of days, so I drove over to his place to walk Fox. He was invigorated by the chilly air!
(Feels good to him with all that fur to carry around.)

We will be going to the Fair tomorrow morning. I can't wait!

No, Cedar. I see no photos at all in your post. Not even a link.
I tried the procedure you detailed but also got no photo image.

Have a Fabulous Friday, guys!

WOW!! Not only Fabulous Fired Fair Friday...but The Bingster wrote us this morning! What say Crown?? Too cool!

Yes, 'too cool' is right. Woke up to a 36 chilly degrees! So you had to take the super FOX for a brisk walk? Aww. You know what Crown...when we figure out this photo mystery, you HAVE to show some pictures of FOX. He is a beautiful sheltie...BIX would love him.

Have a groovy Friday, a groovy Saturday and...well, a groovy Sunday too! (Can you really have a groovy Sunday?) Can't wait to hear all about the fired twinkies, the fair... and those bluegrass shispering pines.

YABBA, YABBA BaddabaddaBING!

:treeguy:

Have a great, safe trip, Bing.
Hope you find some good "mountain blend" coffee!
Take at least one nap under the shispering pines for me.

Hey, Renna - don't strain yourself too much. It's supposed to get easier each day.

~AUNTIE!!
Did you enjoy your nog? I liked that dragon tree picture and the lake pics always make me yearn to stand next to one. I wrote a poem on behalf of Autumn Auntie's slide show.

Fall Again

A lake shimmering and shining
tall pines shispering, circling smoke
leaves falling bright red, orange & gold
Cedar's sick from a hay mold.

:hello: Awwwh - that's so sweet - guess you're having some allergy issues, huh? What's that there? I said, "Huh" instead of "eh" - what's the world coming to?

Hello Friends!!!

Auntie!!! I LOVE the pictures!!! You have real talent!

Cedar...Is hay mold anything like Jello mold?

Always thought that the words "Jello Mold" were somewhat disgusting!!! jay

~ Yeah Jay - and I've seen Jello Molds and if you ask me they look like Flubber. It's a little creepy.

OMG Yes jay.. Bruce is pure religion....

~ Binger & JayIsh - my husband almost got to go to the concert in Ottawa this Sunday, but we're picking up my parents at the airport in Toronto. He's a little "bumbed out" because he wanted me to go, he's seen Bruce before, but he still listens. He got the new CD and a DVD from Live in Barcelona, but that's not the same as going to the concert.

The eggnog was delicious!

Got find some eggnog, gotta gets'more, gotta find myself an eggnog store.

Wouldn't we be a sight to see if we were out browsing and shopping together. You'd be sniffing old books (always reminded me of plastersine) and I'd be sniffing Scotch Tape. Not too mention waking up and smelling the coffee. Oh yeah, we'd turn a few heads.

By the way, I saw the photo you inserted, but I only commented on it in my sleep I guess. Very cute.

31 days to the Season.
73 days to Christmas Day.
(The Season arrives one month from today!)

A chilly Good Morning to one and all.
The thermometer stands at 48 here in Raleigh at this hour. Brrrrr!

Well, we are off to the State Fair momentarily so I'll make this a short post.

Have a Stupendous Saturday and a Wonderous Weekend, friends!

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Auntie!! You saw the Santa Photo? Well I'll be...then it DID show up!...Crown, did you hear that? Thanks for mentioning it Auntie.

Oh yeah, I'm a Scotch Tape sniffer from way back. And Crayola Crayons..but books..ahhhh, old books, I just can't stop myself from sniffing them, even in public. There, I admitted it. ~Auntie, I have an old book called, "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens" by J.M.Barrie, it is red cloth with gold print, the pages are so old and looks like homemade paper, uneven and ragged edges. Very thin sheets of tissue paper between the illustrations, the spine looks like it was hand sewn! It is among my most treasured things...but the best part of it is the smell! I put the book out with my other old Christmas decorations because it is that old red color and looks so pretty with a sprig of holly laying on it.

Hmmmm, eggnog sounds just right!

I miss Norfolk..hope the sun is shining and the pines are shispering...

Hey Crown!
Did you eat a fired twinkie at the Fair today? Tell us all about it!

It is a chilly 50 degrees, but the sun is out and the gold leaves are steadily falling off the maples landing in the spruce and fir trees making them look like decorated Christmas trees!

:treeguy:

Nope. No fired twinkie this year.
But shared a tasty funnel cake with the other assorted Crowns.
By the way, Carl will be at the Fair all week. After he helped set up, he got a job giving camel rides to the kids. Naturally with his unique appearance and talents, he is one of the hits of the Fair. (In fact , I am a bit worried he might like it so much, he will stay with the side shows when they move on to the next city after their run here concludes at the end of next week. I would miss Carl but it would be a nice opportunity for him.)

30 days to the Season.
72 days to Christmas Day.

Another crisp one this morning, with the old mercury standing at 50 here in Raleigh at this hour. Seventy-Seven is the predicted high for today.

Crabtree Mall is getting Christmassier and Christmassier!
Belks, Macys and Sears all have their Christmas merchandise out now.
Walmart has their Christmas section all stocked.
The mall itself will probably start decorating by the end of next week.
It's getting to be that time of the year isn't it!!

Have a Super Sunday, everyone!

71 days till christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT!!!

My Christmas has changed... instead of starting the 16, I start the 23, although I have to be there the 21st. Luckily, the session is shorter, but the hours are longer and the pay is better.

Hmmmm........ Nobody in the thread since yesterday afternoon.
Am I a bad influence? Is everyone sleeping late?
Wake up and smell Binger's coffee.
(Actually, Bing is no doubt sitting on a mountain ridge, throwing coffee beans over the side. No, wait! They would never do that since that would mean they would have to climb down and retrieve them)

29 days to the Season.
71 days to Christmas Day.
(Closing in on the season! We are down into the 20's!)

It was 51 on my thermometer this morning.
We should reach the upper 70's today.
Since the humidity will be low, it promises to be a nice one.

Have a Marvelous Monday, guys!
