And in that line, I'm sure you are a "The largest cup you have with the strongest blend please" kinda person, and not one of those jamoaca hot almond fudge bananna nutbread latte' types!

Only to 2:00, Bing?

:whisper: Speaking of thread counts . . .

In 2003, (at Christmas.com forums) there were 348 replies on 28 pages - not sure when it officially started.
In 2004, there were 1215 replies on 41 pages
In 2005, there were 1087 replies on 37 pages
In 2006, at TXP there were 3756 replies on 251 pages. (It ran a little longer passed Christmas Day though.)

:)) Here at the MMC countdown, we're looking at 1,445 replies on 145 pages and we only started the countdown on July 23rd, with Jay's help.

We still have 35 days to go! I think that's wonderful! Need more coffee so we can post more.

I'm going to be reading for weeks to catch up on all that I missed. I'm really sorry that I missed the countdown. Hopefully I will have a new puter and highspeed instead of dial-up next year. This puter is slower than a snail. I can go in and brew a pot of coffee and pour myself a piping hot cup by the time I get from one page to the other. Although I have a bunn coffeemaker and only takes a minute but puter is still slow. lol

I'm sitting here getting ready to watch a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I haven't seen that in a few years so not gonna miss it this year.

Hey have you tried the new coffee creamer, Peppermint mocha. mmmmmmmmmmmmm pretty good.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr morning xx

Hi SILA girl!

OMG! Can I believe my own eyes? It's RENN! My friend! Renn...my computer is the same way, I go shopping and come back and it's still trying to load up, my ancient Gateway is 10 years old...but investing in a new one is NOT on the list! Hey, how are those eyes of yours?

:-D

Oh, Good 'Day Before Thanksgiving' Morning to you!!

Everyone ready to tie on the feed bag? I have alot to do today...I'll be fighting those crowds like everyone else.

Did you hear? The great and powerful OZ finally got the Munchkins their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Yeah! ~The Lollipop Guild

Bzzzzzzzzz! Who is Dusty Springfield?

Auntie, could you check your figures, please?
I distinctly recall each year had more posts than the year before. I don't have access to the C.Com or TXP archives but I remember that.

Cedar, the only movie performer I ever met in my life was Jerry Maren who played the Guild member who handed Dorothy the lollipop. He was in his 80's and at our annual Raleigh Christmas show here a few years back.
Was here with his wife. I believe he is still with us.
There are very few of the Munchkins still living, now.

SEASON DAY 9
Days to Thanksgiving: 1 (TOMORROW, GUYS!!)
Days to Christmas Day: 34 (Less than 5 weeks!)

Well, frustratingly sad news. I still cannot get my father's computer to allow me to post to this forum and that's where we will be spending the Thanksgiving holidays. The darn thing keeps giving me the same error message: "Your post is too short and needs to be longer than 2 characters". I get this message no matter how long a post I type. Have never seen anything like it. The "Ask the Crew" guys are stumped!
As such, it looks like I'll be off the air until Saturday or Sunday.

I hope everyone has the best Thanksgiving possible and gets lots of turkey and cranberry sauce!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday / Happy Hump Day!

I'm sorry you can't post tomorrow Crownster, but enjoy yourself with your family...try not to fall asleep at the table, OK?

Crown, I tried to find your Christmas photo thread yesterday and could not. Where is it located? Are there pics of your Santa?

That is a bummer Crown...I'm sorry to hear about the computer troubles and I wish I was knowlegeable about the inner workings of these mystery machines but I am not...I know how to turn them on, and yesterday I figured out how to post a picture...and I can email...some...and I know how to play music...that's about it...But have a GREAT Thanksgiving! I know I speak for my friend Binger when I say that I'm thankful for the friendship that these forums offer, all of the forums we've been on for that matter. It is truly a gift and a shining light in my life!

Cedar, good luck with the crowds today...I seem to always have to go on Thanksgiving morning for something that the Mrs. forgets and it is a zoo there then too...

I'm looking forward to the Macy's parade tomorrow!!!

Have a great day and the best Thanksgiving everyone!~

jay

Thanks, Guys.
While I cannot post, I can still access the site and read what everyone else posts. So I will be with you in spirit!

Cedar, my Christmas Photos 2007 thread is under "Chit Chat". It is in the 2nd section and is currently the 10th thread down. Please post!
(Yes, Santa's photo is there!)
