These are a couple of pictures we took at the Dallas Arboretum on Saturday. As mentioned before, there will be 90,000 pumpkins out there this year. The Pumpkin Village will be completed and opened to the public this Saturday. This is work in progress right now and as you see in the picture below the boxes they bring in full of pumpkins. They bring in 18 wheelers full of them! I love going early to watch them go to work on it. Depending on the weather, might rain, I hope to make it there before they open to the public on Saturday morning during member's hours - 7 - 9 am and get some pictures of the completed village. Oh heck, I should go anyway with an umbrella!Anyone visiting the Dallas area, I highly recommend visiting this place. If you live in the area, a membership is worth every penny!
