This seems like a slow week to me, but that's likely because we've already passed our first set of milestones, and now there's some time to wait before we reach the next few. I know they will be worth the wait though.
Seen them but haven't tried them yet. I'm still digging out of my Halloween clearance candy. Two bags of Kit Kat Witch's Brew and a bag of Kit Kat Pumpkin Pie.Thanks to a suggestion from @LadyLynn, I now present you, fellow Halloween enthusiasts, with what I hope will become a weekly tradition in this thread: The Seasonal Candy of the Week!
Now, seeing as we are a tight-knit community here, I don't want to keep this as my own tradition, so if anyone wants to contribute and post a Seasonal Candy of the Week, let me know and I'll gladly hand over the mic for you to take the stage any week out of the year. Also, the day of the week that we do this is still undecided; I'm starting this on a Friday, but it's already kind of the end of the week, so maybe we move this to Tuesdays or Wednesdays or something? Whichever day you all prefer.
Anyway, enough jibba-jabba, as Mr. T would say. Let's get right to it. This week's pick actually debuted in December, but since it's not a Christmas-specific candy I cheated a bit and will carry it over into January. I tried one of these last month before I started my diet, and it quickly became a favorite. It's the Mocha + Dark Chocolate KitKat!

I could have easily chosen a Valentine's candy, but I ultimately decided against it since we're still in the first week of January and have plenty of time for that. Instead, this is a candy that feels like it belongs in Winter. If snack size bags of this existed, I could easily finish one on my own.
Fun fact: KitKat is owned by Hershey's here in the US, but in the rest of the world they are owned by Nestlé. I have never tried a Nestlé KitKat, but I've heard they are so much better tasting than what we're used to in the states.
My question is, for January, would hot chocolate bombs be considered a candy? Thanks to a suggestion from @LadyLynn, I now present you, fellow Halloween enthusiasts, with what I hope will become a weekly tradition in this thread: The Seasonal Candy of the Week!

The judges rule..."Yes!"My question is, for January, would hot chocolate bombs be considered a candy?
My vote is until you can't bite into it anymore.Morning Halloween Fans! How long is it acceptable to keep Halloween candy? Asking for "a friend"....ok asking for me lol. I ate a piece last night. Still tasted fresh to me. Have a great day!
Then I'm still good for a while! My vote is until you can't bite into it anymore.
Yep, last year was our first time putting out Halloween lights. So If I am going by that logic, it is only 264 days until I put up lights againMorning Halloween Fans! Well another day closer to Halloween. Oh that kind of happens every day doesn't it? Well I was thinking how when we take the lights down very soon (if not already) for Christmas the next time some people will decorate won't be till October. Crazy huh? Have a great day!
I put up a small amount of pink mantle lights and a wreath for Valentine's Day plus an outdoor flag. For Easter I have a few indoor decorations including translucent egg lights. I even have lights and decorations for St. Patrick's and Fourth of July. Yes, I may go a bit overboard.Morning Halloween Fans! Well another day closer to Halloween.
