Good Morning Friends! The snow event was a bust! We only got about an inch of snow! Enough to cover the grounds and road, but that's it. But don't worry, we have another shot on Saturday, and then another possible "big one" on Monday night - Tuesday!

As I've always said, I feel like it's hard to get a "Halloween Vibe" when it is snowing outside. But, I do get Christmas vibes, which is always a great thing. That being said, I am ready for winter to be over! Have a great day!

We've had such a spring vibe with the weather here. I am excited that we are scheduled to get storms the next few days. Not holding my breath though--mostly these predicted storms have been no shows.

Morning Halloween Fans! It seems like it's about October out there in terms of the sun angle. I'm not sure if it's close this time of year but the daylight lasting a little longer into early evening (just like in October) but not deep into it. Kind of reminds me of October. Have a great day!

TGIF! More snow storms are on the way for Saturday, and then again Monday night. We are long-range watching Thursday. The temperatures are going to be right, all of the conditions perfect for snow.

In a way, that's a bummer to me. I was looking forward to having all of those 40's & 50 degree days that it was calling for. My long range accuweather shows a shift in the weather after around 2/17, projecting the upper 40's again. We will see if it is true.

But I need a pick me up, Ber's wise, with the 200 days to the BERS happening SATURDAY, I think another visit to the Lowe's garden center is in order.

I'm not going to talk a ton about that, I want Edge to ring in that milestone properly on his BERS thread. I will just say that I am finishing up my "Bers Tribute" slideshow and hope to have ready later this morning.

NOW, let's look at our counts. "Days to Hallowen" will fall into the 250's TOMORROW! "Days to October 1st" will also enter into the 220's, also tomorrow!

Guys, I think that is huge. Even being at the 200 count to the Bers, you have to imagine that Spring is now quite literally just around the corner! Have a great Saturday!

I missed a few days this week, but I'm sure glad I could be here for this! What an awesome day for milestones! Even as we're hitting record lows here in Texas, my thoughts are already turned toward the milder Bers season. To think that we're almost at the 250 day mark is incredible; I love how we are speeding through February!

Definitely! According to my Peanuts "schedule" I'm supposed to be listening to the Charlie Brown Valentine's soundtracks right now, but this week has been so cold and wintery here that I cheated a little and listened to "I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown!"

Me personally I hope that it goes straight to home / steaming. I posted my thoughts on the theater industry the other day. Now that I am in the process of "cutting the cord" on cable, I seem to have a venomous drive for revenge on the industries that abused and mistreated the customers for so long. But regardless, watching a Halloween movie in any capacity on Halloween, will be great!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to all! Today we usher in a big change on two of our countdowns. "Days to Halloween" has now finally entered into the 250's, and "Days to October 1st" is now looking pretty good in the 220's. I think seeing those numbers is even more proof that spring is almost here.

Soon we will be celebrating HALFOWEEN! We will be nearly in the 60's count by the end of this month, which just doesn't seem possible sometimes. Yesterday's icy weather kept me from visiting the garden center at Lowes. Today when it gets up into the upper 30's, I'm going to take a trip there. I just LOVE wishing for spring at this time of the year. Valentine's day I think is the turning point. I hope everybody has a great Sunday!

That 75 is looking pretty darned nice. Went to Ollie's Closeouts today. They still have a ton of Halloween candy and some Xmas as well. Didn't grab any as I'm still wading through my Pumpkin Kit Kats and Witch's Brew Kit Kats. Though grabbed some Sugar Cookie Pop Tarts I missed out. Also grabbed some pumpkin protein bars Kroger was clearing out. Only .49 each. Jackpot! (Jack-o-Lantern pot?)

Good Morning and Happy Monday! We are moving right along in the counts now. For some reason this morning, I really think they look great, considering where we are in the year. Not yet out of the woods on the long-range threat of winter weather, but we are getting there.

For now, it looks like we only have one threat of snow in the forecast, and that's Thursday. That's the coldest day this week, with a high of 28, but the rest of the week is in the 40's, today included, and we even see 48 on Sunday. That's nice. I hope it leads us into spring, because we are very close now, 33 days.

I hope that everyone has a great day! Many people are off work today, so if you are off work, enjoy the day off! Having a day off work always gives me a Holiday vibe...

No day off for me today, but my oldest daughter is out of school this week for "Winter Break," and we got snow for the first time in five years, so there's definitely a holiday vibe here.

Hope you all have a wonderful day today! It's hard to get into the Halloween mindset with temperatures this cold, but I'm sure it won't be a problem later this week!

Good Morning Halloween fans! Over the half-way point in the month now comfortably, and I think it is almost time to start thinking about Jack O Lantern Day #2, and it's big cousin that happens just one month later, HALFOWEEN.

Not quite time just this instant, but it is coming. I imagine by the last week of the month, It is fair game to start daydreaming about those things again.
