Hmmm, shows in stock online for me. Think I'll order one! It's really cool looking. Now I just have to find a place to put it.

Now I'm going to spend all day looking at the different fragrances...this will most certainly hurt my wallet.
If they are truly in stock in your area, order it without delay! The little bottles are fairly affordable, IMO. At my store, you can get 5 bottles for $20.00, and since the bottles last around 30 days, that's 5 months of your favorite fragrances for $20 bucks. Pretty Snazzy. I'm waiting to see when they come out with a Christmas Wallflower, and associated fragrances.

Good Morning Halloween Friends!

It is FINALLY here - the last weekend without the Bers that we will have to spend for the next 4 months!

My annual viewing of the Harry Potter movies will conclude on Sunday, "my" final Dark Arts Sunday of 2021, as SyFy will take over in October playing them every Sunday. How I can't wait! I have a jug of cherry cider "saved" for the occasion, although after Tuesday, I feel like I will probably gorge and consume all varieties of Apple Cider any chances that I get for at least the next three months.

And of course Tuesday will be our special "season finale" of Jack O Lantern Day, complete with Halloween tree-lighting ceremony, and the main part of our house being lit up only by fall-scented candles, and hurricane lamps! Once it's in the books I look forward to going down through the notes I kept on each Jack O Lantern Day (Yes, I'm crazy like that!) and identifying what worked, what didn't work, etc.. in an attempt to constantly improve my experience! I know! I'm a weirdo! But recreating seasonal "feels" are important to me! I have Rudolph Day down to a science. I feel like I'll get there on JOL day.

Have a great day, friends!

Bro, your "crazy" is normal here. For crying out loud, I keep track of the times of sunsets after the Solstice (we're at 36 minutes earlier now, BTW), and have a detailed plan of which Vince Guaraldi music to listen to for each month - all year long. Outside of MMC and my immediate family I'd be considered insane.

We're all one big, happy family of weirdos.

I bought my first Reese's Halloween candy tonight on the way home from work, they will never see October 31st!!!

I hear you all on the "crazy" and the "weirdo" aspect... I have decided that I am going to wait until next weekend to approach my niece about having a second annual Great Pumpkin Egg hunt, and I am thinking about offering up anytime over the Columbus Day weekend. I know that Halloween, or even Halloween weekend is just too busy. I don't know that none holiday people understand the time and planning, and dreaming and hoping that we put into celebrating. Maybe that makes it more special for them, so thank you all for being here for the other 11.5 months! Truly, I appreciate you all.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! There's just something very special about the last weekend that we will have without THE BERS for the next 4 months.

Dark Arts Sunday will wrap up tomorrow, as I complete my annual re-watching of Harry Potter. That might seem somber that it is "over", but it won't be for long, as SyFy takes over with Dark Arts Sunday every Sunday beginning in October, so no worries there.

And when Sunday is in the books, it will be only TWO days until the Final JOL Day of 2021. With the house and grounds fully decorated now, it is going to be a magical experience. For many months now we have dreamed of the return of the Bers, cooler weather, and our beloved Halloween season. Thank goodness the return process to all of that starts in just 4 more days!

Have a great day, friends!

I am excited and more than normal since as you point out next Saturday will be the first Bers Weekend and a three day weekend to boot! The weather continues to feel like summer and I know that technically is should, but looking forward to cooler temps.

Isn't it interesting that the Hogwarts Express leaves every year on September 1st? I think J.K. Rowling must be a big fan of the Bers too!

I think we'll do the Great Pumpkin Egg Hunt again this year too. The unexpected side effect of being in lockdown last year was that the kids really loved it! So we might make it an annual tradition. It's also pretty neat having a Fall equivalent to an Easter Egg hunt in the Spring.

I think it is neat too and I hope we both get to do it again this year!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Today is my final "Dark Arts Sunday" of the 2021 Halloween countdown season! SyFy will take over, and in fact, they already have, as all weekend long on SyFy, is a Harry Potter marathon! They call it "Wizarding World Weekend", which is what I believe they call the marathons when it is not Halloween season. No matter. No complaints here. I will finish up my watching of the series, and then enjoy what ever HP movies they have playing today, in the background.

And just two days later, we will see the final Jack O Lantern Day of 2021. And our counts on here will be pretty lonely by that point. We started with FOUR main counts (Days to Halloween, Days to October 1st, Days to Halfoween), and as time went on, we picked up a 5th (Days to the Bers). We lost the Halfoween count back in April. We will lose the last JOL Day count on Tuesday. Wednesday The Bers count is gone, because we are back home by then. Crazy how fast it all went.

WEEKS TO OCTOBER: 4
WEEKS TO HALLOWEEN: 8

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The BERS are practically knocking on the front door now. Good grief they are only two days away! And the very last Jack O Lantern Day of 2021 will be tomorrow. It's going to be a great one, the house is fully decorated for Fall / Halloween, which is a first for a JOL Day.

There will be some spooky, scary, SKINNY countdowns on here after tomorrow.

And our weeks count, HOLY MACKEREL only 4 weeks until October! I felt like we were getting close, but with seeing all of the numbers today, doesn't it seem like it jumped right out at us?

Have a wonderful day, anyone in the path of the hurricane, please stay safe!

I love that October is going to start on a Friday and end on a Sunday, I hope everything in between is like on long Saturday!
