Good Morning Halloween Friends! We passed the mid point on the week and are now cruising towards another "Spooky Spring Weekend". I've been continuing this "spooky spring" by watching another Halloween episode of South Park last night.

I know it's just a cartoon, but something that dawned on me two days ago, and especially last night, is that seeing Halloween and Fall even depicted in cartoons, there is a power to it. You can feel it through the screen that there is a vibe and energy building behind it. We're just a few weeks shy of being halfway back, but I really felt the power of Spooky Season, and I felt the energy. Usually around the 3rd or 4th week of September I feel like the magic is so thick you can cut it with a knife, and I was feeling like that last night even though we are only tasting a small portion of Halloween's "power".

Like I said yesterday, I think that this weather is cooperating by being cool and gloomy to help with those Halloween feels. But seeing pumpkins and stuff on the screen, realizing that we are just about halfway back, it's really something and it's gotten such an emotional response out of me so far. I think April will forever be "Spooky Spring" from now on. Folks, today marks only being one week away from a big milestone in here, and that's the 200 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. Keep your eyes on those countdowns, they are going faster than anybody is picking up on right now! Have a great day!

Oh yeah, Spooky Spring is in full effect. Today is another Silent Hill soundtrack day at work, and I've just started re-reading a book titled Showdown by Ted Dekker. It's about a priest who visits a small town to "bring the good news," although he isn't a priest, like not at all. And his news is quite bad. And he does some pretty chilling things.

@SolidSnake84, I think you are right. April will forever be Spooky Spring from now on. It's been too much fun not to do it again.

We do the same for Christmas in June, so why not honor Halloween the same way at the half way month?

Happy Friday, Halloween Friends! We're here at the beginning of another Spooky Spring Weekend! I haven't thought about what I'm going to watch on TV tonight. The past couple of nights I've watched Halloween episodes of South Park, and it has been great. I kept notes last year of what they played on TV during SyFy's "30 Days of Halloween", and AMC's Fear Fest. I'm thinking about watching something scary like "Independence Day", or "Spider Man". Just kidding. Those are what I like to call "Halloween Duds", and they have no place in my Halloween / Spooky Spring celebrations!

Let's take a look at the countdowns real quick - We are just one day over THREE WEEKS from ringing in Halfoween. Just six days away now from the all important 200 Days to Halloween milestone. I look forward in the coming days to hear about your Halfoween plans and activities! Have a great Friday!

When I read that you were planning on watching "Independence Day" or "Spider-Man" I thought you were serious for a second there! Then I started thinking about Halloween Duds and if we could reverse that trend. There are plenty of thrillers and other movies out there that could be considered Halloween movies but aren't.

Anyone remember "The Others"? That's a creepy movie that I'll be watching for Halfoween although it's largely not considered a "Halloween" movie.

The last two years haven’t been so bad on TV. If I remember correctly, it was 2017 or 2018 that had the “duds” in the lineup with 31 days of Halloween. It was only on SyFy, I don’t think they made it into “fear fest” on AMC.

It should be though. It is totally creepy, which is probably my top criterion for a Halloween movie.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Last night I took the excellent subliminal messaging by @The_Escalation , and watched "The Grudge". I haven't saw that movie in a long time!

Folks, we are nearly "halfway" to Halfoween. I haven't saw any news yet about AMC doing a halfway movie marathon, but Shudder has been doing a halfway to Halloween celebration all month long. We have it as part of our Sling TV streaming package, but I believe it also exists as a stand-alone purchase / app. I highly recommend checking it out.

Have a great day, try and keep Halloween thoughts in your head today, it should be easy!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Spooky Spring weekend rolls on! Last night I watched the original Amityville Horror! I'm not sure what I'm going to dial up tonight, I may watch some more Halloween episodes of South Park, just not sure at the moment.

Looking at our counts this morning, we are finally going to shed the last count that is in the 200's, and that is the "Days to Halloween", which we will celebrate the big 200 Day Milestone on Wednesday! Beginning on Thursday, all of our counts will in the 100's or lower!

Have a great day, friends!

Leaving the 200s and having Halfoween rolling up is exciting! I know I should look past Easter, but definitely great to have so many things to look forward to!
