Alright, I promised some announcements. Are you ready?
We are now far enough along in the year where you're going to start seeing Halloween news, and these first few tidbits have already rolled out:
First, there's going to be a Spirit Halloween movie. Yes, you read that right: a movie about the Halloween store that takes over an abandoned retail location every year.

Second, for soda lovers, Mountain Dew will be bringing back its mystery "VooDew" flavored soda for a fourth round this year.

I'm not sure where they can go with it this year since it almost has to be some kind of fruit-related flavor.

Good Morning and Happy Friday! As you can see from the counts above, there are now NO MORE 200 counts! We won't see those again for a long time, not until December when the NEW Halloween Thread is going.
It's a Spooky Spring Friday. We've got more October-ish weather in store for today after having the past two days be a preview of July. And not only is it a Spooky Spring Friday, we are now at the HALF WAY, to HALFOWEEN point. When I get home from work tonight, I'm going to put out my giant Costco laughing pumpkins, where they will stay for the rest of the month. I am also switching the wallflower plug in our living room over to my Haunted Conservatory from Bath & Body works. With the weather, and all of the decorations up here, this is about as close to Halloween feels as I can get on a non-Jack O Lantern day. April has been so far like Jack O Lantern day on steroids! And it's been great!

It's time to start decorating for Halfoween, but I think I'm at least going to wait until after Easter. I'm going to get weird looks and probably a snide comment or two from my family if they show up on Sunday and I've got pumpkins and skeletons out around the house.

We have talked a lot about the connection between April and October, and I have gotten a big boost from it all. However, I am hoping that the late April weather can start to mirror the early October weather! If nothing else, I guess I can hope that the temps for Halloween are warmer than Easter's!
