Halloween 2022 Countdown!

I am excited for the upcoming Dark Arts Sunday/Jack O'Lantern Day because it is also Harry Potter's birthday! I am going to see if my niece and her kids would like to come out for Pumpkin Waffles and Birthday Cake, they are a little young to enjoy the movies yet but I thought it might be a fun tradition to start now.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Another amazing cool morning here. Only 63 degrees, and foggy. We're just missing the fall foliage.

Folks, Dark Arts Sunday is in just two weeks, and Jack O Lantern Day #4 is just three weeks away. I can't believe that pretty soon we will have only ONE remaining for the 2022 "Season".

3 big days from today, we are finally at the 50 Day Preview to The Bers. This might be the most anticipated thing on these boards besides Christmas Day itself. I can't wait. And I know none of you can either. So have a great Sunday, and keep those Halloween thoughts in your head. Maybe some of you will encounter some Halloween or Fall decorations out "in the wild". I'm going by both Lowes and Costco today, which I'm seeing online that people are making discoveries in both. We will see. Have a great day!
 
So they just opened an At Home store near where i live. The wife and i went down to check it out and happily they were starting to put out there Halloween stuff. Not just fall but Halloween! My first official sights of Halloween for the season! It brought a nice smile to my face for this awsome Sunday afternoon.
 
Our Walmart is full-blown Back-to-School. So Halloween won't be far behind.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Another Monday, and the start of a new week. Folks, this week we will reach the mid-way point through the month. I can't stress enough how huge that is, FALL PRESEASON is now LESS THAN 3 weeks away.

We were amazed at the cool weather over the weekend, last night was positively cool and almost chilly for July, and we enjoyed sitting around the fire ring in the back yard. It had a decidedly "Bers" feel to it. Sometimes it doesn't seem possible to think that this week will see this month being half over, when we haven't really even had a heat wave yet. I'm not wishing for one. We're just 9 days away now from the peak hottest day here. I'm hoping its an easy slide into Fall Preseason.

Let's talk about this July weather. Here the temps have been well below normal. How about the rest of you? Has anyone had some Fall "Feels" that have been weather induced? Or have the feels just hit you for a different reason?

We've had plenty of cooler evenings and that wonderful "Bers Breeze" that comes through sometimes. Even the sunsets now are starting to resemble something you'd see in The Bers. Its caused lots of Feels! Have a great day!
 
For july weather so far i can not complain. If it has gotten hot it has only been for a short time and then it cools off.
Now that we are mid july I am expecting and understand having the hot humid weather. I hate it but everything has its time and place. Just glad the heat has been contained in the late spring/early summer this year. And hopefully the heat and humidity doesn't hang on until later in September. That always agitates me.

No Fall feels due to weather. It's quite difficult when your constantly wiping sweat from your brow. LOL. The only feels I've been getting lately have been from my trips to Hobby Lobby and Home Goods. I heard the At Home store has some fall items out also, so I can't wait to check them out.

I echo what @Rich has said. It's just too darn hot here in the South. We were under heat advisory this whole weekend. However, I am sure that the 50 Day Preview of the Bers will help me in the Feels department, as well as next week when I start my vacation and go looking for all of the early Fall and Halloween items that have been put out so far!
 
It is too darn hot here in the west too. Today is our only day this week. under a 100. I think @SolidSnake84 in Virginia stole our cooler temps--and I am begging him to give them back. Usually we get hot in the day but cool off nicely in the evenings but not last week and definitely not this week. As far as Bers-like, we have been having some sensational orange sunsets.

I haven't really been able to focus on anything else these past couple of days as I knew we were drawing closer.

This week obviously sees us hit the 50 days to The Bers marker, as well as breaking into a 70's count on the days to October!

The 50 Day Bers Preview has completely overshadowed my summer vacation -- and I mean that in a good way! I've been excited for tomorrow to arrive ever since the last Bers ended. And I'll be off all next week and really able to enjoy it. It will help take my mind off of this scorching heat we've been having.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! At long last its finally here. 50 DAYS TO THE BERS, and we reached it TODAY. Folks I cannot stress enough what an amazing day this is, it feels like a holiday. I think I'm even going to cheat a little bit today and uncork my fall / halloween / JOL Day playlist. You know what, it's not cheating because TODAY IS A HOLIDAY.

Enough yacking from me this morning, I am taking time away from us all heading over to the Daily Holiday Hangout to bask in the glory of being 50 DAYS TO THE BERS. Guys, we are only 50 days away from being HOME. Nary a month an a half. We've got this! Have a great day!
