I hope you find them and I hope you post the pictures!I gotta find those Peanuts yard standees soon! I want Linus waiting in my front yard for the Great Pumpkin. At least I'll be able to look for them during my upcoming vacation.

Welcome to the party, @Iteachpercussion!Somehow I have not posted in this thread or followed this thread in the past. Time to fix that!
I really enjoy Halloween a lot and usually get in on the activities pretty early. As a matter of fact, I have a hard time not jumping into Halloween in early August! I try my best to wait until Labor Day weekend, but sometimes I find that I have to listen to some Halloween music in August. Normally it is the rock music stuff that is not really Halloween music, but gets thrown in there anyway.
Most years we get our inside Halloween decorations on Labor Day weekend or the weekend after that. That gives us most of September and all of October to enjoy them. Similar to Christmas when we put things up in early November which gives us 2 months there as well. Our outside Halloween decor normally goes up a couple of weeks later and certainly by the end of September. While not quite as big as our Christmas display, we have quite a bit of stuff to put up. The key piece is the giant Sandworm my wife (art teacher) made a few years ago. It is made from chicken wire and Great Stuff, and then carved. It is in 3 sections, the head, body, and tail. So it looks like it is going into and coming out of the ground.
Anyway, I will start to make this thread a regular visit now. Still amazed that though I have been a member here for several years, I do not remember ever coming to this thread. Wow, just, wow!
I will totally post pics if I find some good ones!I hope you find them and I hope you post the pictures!
I second that on the Peanuts stuff.I hope you find them and I hope you post the pictures!

I don't know if you have a Joann Fabrics near you but they have Hocus Pocus fabric out and last year had quite a few home decor items out. I was there on Weds, and no signs of Halloween/Fall decor yet, but I hope they'll bring it back.I'm actually planning on making a Hobby Lobby Run this weekend, and also heading by Lowes as they are claiming online they have some Halloween Merchandise starting to go out pertaining to the upcoming "Hocus Pocus 2".
After reading your post, I watched it. Does it seem a littler darker in tone than the first one?Good morning all!
Well after a nice sunny, sit outside on the porch kinda day yesterday; today is all rain. It is pouring rain right now and will continue throughout most of the day.
Watching the trailer of Hocus Pocus 2, it looks like it should be good. There is a lot of potential there. I am still surprised it took so long to get a sequel made.
My Joann's has Halloween fabric but nothing else yet. Fingers crossed.I don't know if you have a Joann Fabrics near you but they have Hocus Pocus fabric out and last year had quite a few home decor items out. Yes it does seem a little darker, but still a comedy I think. I am optimistic. After reading your post, I watched it. Does it seem a littler darker in tone than the first one?
I do! There's a Jo Ann Fabrics about 4 or 5 miles from me! It's a place we "stalk" quite frequently!I don't know if you have a Joann Fabrics near you but they have Hocus Pocus fabric out and last year had quite a few home decor items out. I love this! Looks like it's either from The Nightmare Before Christmas or Beetlejuice. Here is the Sandworm. That picture is a couple of years old and at our old house. But it gives you a good view of its size.

It is the sandworm from Beetlejuice, but the way its made definitely gives a Tim Burton Nightmare Before Christmas vibe. We have a Beetlejuice that we put in the yard now as well. My wife wants to make his headstone from the movie too. You can buy them at the Halloween stores, but she said she would rather make one. I will make sure to take some pictures this Fall.I love this! I love the sandworm and can't wait to see it with Beetlejuice and the headstone. I would definitely have your yard on my "circuit".It is the sandworm from Beetlejuice, but the way its made definitely gives a Tim Burton Nightmare Before Christmas vibe.
