Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Powder Keg Day! You can see that we are standing on the powder keg / doorstep now to one of the happiest days of the year.

All good things this week / weekend. First of all, it's a 3 day weekend, and that will make many people happy, including yours truly. Secondly, another round of Dark Arts Sunday is coming this weekend, and we are also now just about a week away from JOL Day #3. The heat has been crazy the past few days, and I have been missing The Bers and October like crazy. I'm so glad that we have a JOL Day coming up so that I can "tap into" some of those feels a little bit.

Today's Monday icebreaker / topic should be no surprise:

How are you feeling today being only one day away from 100 Days to The Bers?

Me, I think this might be one of the most important milestone days on this whole site. I think this one is right up there with Halfway to Christmas, or even when we break into the 100's on days to Christmas Day. I'm pretty much over the moon. All of a sudden, what felt like a long trek, all of a sudden seems very manageable. The road back is going to be HOT, and it will have difficulties along the way. But the journey is worth it. We're less than two months from seeing Halloween Candy in the stores. Big Box stores like Lowes will probably have Autumn / Halloween decorations inside of 90 days. All in all it is just a special time filled with lots of hope. I don't think you want to miss the party tomorrow in The Bers Thread.

Have a great day!

I am very excited about tomorrow and the 100 days until the Bers. But also looking at the weeks to October just gave me an extra jolt. Only 18 weeks! :D

SO excited, and it's only the day before! Tomorrow is going to feel like a party all day long! The folks at work are probably going to wonder why I'm so jolly.

I might even cheat and listen to my Bers playlist a little...
I realized last week that i had a Halloween playlist but not techically a fall/bers playlist. Well i made one this past weekend and i am going preview it tomorrow for the big event!

Good Morning Friends! Well today is the day we have been waiting for. No beating around the bush. The 100 Day Milestone to The Bers is here. Today overall will have just a sense of joy and peace. The good stuff is now just right up ahead.

Happy Rudolph Day Eve as well. We're ONE WEEK away from Jack O Lantern Day as well. Overall just good times. Perfect symmetry in the counts today, we are now just 30 days away from 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER, and 10 DAYS away from 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN.

Have a great day, friends!

Is this the best countdown/milestone week ever? It could be. Today is 100 days until the Bers, the next two days are Rudolph Day and Halfsgiving, and Sunday is Dark Arts Sunday!
I can't remember a week that had so many great things in it! Makes me like May a lot more!

Happy Rudolph Day, Halloween Friends!

I know Halloween is "our day" but there's always such magic I feel on a Rudolph Day. I'm already starving this morning thinking about our Rudolph Day dinner. I've got sparkling cider on tap. It's not my beloved Cherry cider, but it will do for today. Lots of Holiday feels.

That "Bers" number is looking pretty good - 99 days now, double digits, and the downward trek from the peak of the mountain is underway!

Mid-way through the week already, and my mind is naturally wandering to the weekend - the "official" opening of the road back to The Bers, Dark Arts Sunday, and then last but not least, closing out the month with Jack O Lantern Day #3!

Have a great day, friends!

I feel Iike this weekend is going to be a big "welcome back to the road home" party. It's always a great feeling reaching Memorial Day and knowing we have reached a turning point in the year. And I think the Halloween vibe with Dark Arts Sunday and then JOL Day on Tuesday is more than an appropriate way to celebrate.

DAYS TO JOL DAY: 5
DAYS TO THE BERS: 98
DAYS TO OCTOBER: 128
DAYS TO HALLOWEEN: 158

Good Morning Halloween Friends! It's Thursday, or "Mini Friday" as some of us at the office has begun calling it.

Another Rudolph Day is in the books, and I think as last night wrapped up, it is really starting to come into focus just what is coming right up ahead. The first QVC Christmas in July show is in just one month from today. We will have celebrated Leon Day a few days before that. And we're probably right at about two months from seeing Halloween candy on the shelves. Lowes last year had Fall & Halloween decorations going out by early August. Will it be the same again this year? I hope so!

Just five days away now from JOL day, and the "bers" count continues to look great as it slowly decreases. We've got one "stubborn" count left in his thread, and that is the "Days to Halloween" that seems like it is holding on to its numbers for dear life. 8 days from hitting the 150 Days to Halloween milestone. That's going to be a good one.

Enjoy what is left of this "week of milestones". And have a great day!

This week of milestones has been wonderful. I am really thankful that I never got bogged down in the post-holiday blues this year. Having something to always count down to and look forward to is a huge mental health boost, as are our mini-celebrations. Tonight I will give Halfsgiving its due, but from tomorrow on I will be in a very Halloween mood as JOL Day approaches.

I know I have often commented this spring that we are having Halloween/October-like weather. Well today is not that kind of day, unless your idea of that type of weather is a visit to Hades. We hit a high of 93, breaking the old record from the 1950s of 91. Good grief!
