Good Morning Halloween Friends!

Happy Tom Turkey day to all! Our Christmas Tree was lit up for the last time last night. It is the last thing still up from Christmas 2022. It led the way through the darkest, longest part of January. I won't see the "big" Tree again until 272 days from now when the tree is brought out of storage on October 25th....

My next special day will be on Sunday, when I begin my annual Harry Potter Re-Watch as part of my "Dark Arts Sunday" celebration that ties into JOL Day. And of course JOL Day #1 is now just 5 days away. Still four counts in here that are in the 200's, but February of course will see our "Bers" count drop into 200 and below. It already feels like time is moving different now that we are in the latter part of January.

My next special day will be on Sunday, when I begin my annual Harry Potter Re-Watch as part of my "Dark Arts Sunday" celebration that ties into JOL Day. And of course JOL Day #1 is now just 5 days away.

I am going to combine some of my JOL activities with Dark Arts Sunday and I am going to have pumpkin pancakes (shaped, not flavored), watch Harry Potter, plan upcoming Halloween crafts for future JOL days, and wear my Halloween (Great Pumpkin) pajamas. I am also reserving the right to do it all again on Tuesday night, I need a double dose of Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday! On the heels of a terrific Tom Turkey Day, we are going to be celebrating a MAJOR milestone over in the Thanksgiving Thread today. Pop on over and check it out! I really feel most of the time like "The Bers" and "Thanksgiving" thread are sister threads to this one as in both of them we talk often about the joys of Fall & Autumn.

This Sunday begins my annual Harry Potter re-watch with my first 2023 edition of "Dark Arts Sunday". Halloween and Harry Potter seem to go hand in hand.

Looking ahead slightly, we will break into a 50's COUNT on the way to Spooky Spring, and we will see that happen on the first day of the new month, next Wednesday!

I am thinking substitute the Halloween peanut M&Ms for Valentine's ones, and instead of Reese's pieces, use peanut butter chips and viola, you have Valentine's Chex Mix!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday to you! Every single time I wake up on Saturday morning and start going about my routine, I always have thoughts of the wonderful weekends in The Bers, and especially October.

One of the things I've tried to do so far this year is just take a few moments every day to think about The Bers, Halloween / Fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just having a few minutes every day to think back and look toward those things.

Folks - we're three days out from the first Jack O Lantern day of 2022. That's exciting. When February 1st arrives, February will welcome us by revealing that our "Days to Spooky Spring" count is down in the 50's. We will have our next milestone less than two weeks from now, on Friday, February 10th, when we will officially reach 50 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING. Then on February 13th, we will "finally" reach 200 DAYS TO THE BERS. I'm sure that one will be very exciting.

A few nights ago, I was even going through our cloud and looking at all the movies we own, checking against my list I made a while back for Spooky Spring. I haven't done too much prep for that yet, but I probably will really start putting stuff together once we get into the 50's count there, and especially by the time we reach the 50 day marker.

Happy Sunday Folks! Today is my first edition of "Dark Arts Sunday" for 2023. My annual re-watch begins of Harry Potter. For newer members to this thread, I began Dark Arts Sunday in 2021 because I had originally started trying to cram Harry Potters into Jack O Lantern Days on 2020, and I felt that I was trying to cram too much into one day to make it enjoyable. So, starting in 2021, I decided I would do one or two HP's on the Sunday closest to our Jack O Lantern Day, as part of the celebration. Seems to be working well!

Folks, we are just two days away now from the 1st Jack O Lantern Day of 2023, and later this week we will see our Spooky Spring count move into The 50's. That's going to be huge folks.

Morning Halloween Fans! A new week is here. We had these extra fudge brownies for dessert I could barely eat one though. Too fudgy. I like fudge but it was too much. Should give that out to trick or treaters this year. Have a great day!
