It's Milestone Day! 250 days is still quite a long way away, but I'm so glad we have our JOL Days, Spooky Spring, and Halfoween in the meantime. And speaking of JOL Days, "Zombie-ary" is in a mere 5 days!

It's not even close to summer but I am already dreading the weeds, the heat/humidity, the weeds, the bugs and did I mention the weeds LOL. I am ready for the Bers and all the greatness that goes along with the Bers

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Friday! We are finally below 250 Days to Halloween. That count is still a ways off, but trust me, it's gonna feel different now.

We've got the first ever February Jack O Lantern Day coming up in just 4 days. Pretty soon, we will be down to just 30 days remaining until Spooky Spring begins. And in just 6 more days, we will see another countdown reach the 200 days threshold - 200 Days to Halloween Season.

Last night while I was out, I darted in the Hobby Lobby real quick. Now obviously I was not expecting to see anything at all Fall related, but it felt good being back in there, and I got a little "mini" dose of the feels when I realized that probably within about 4 weeks, I will really start "Christmas Hunting" and "Fall/Halloween Hunting" for real. I have not been in the Hobby Lobby here since probably the 2nd or 3rd week of December.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Saturday! It's the weekend again. I wish it was the Halloweekend. I always think about that on Saturday morning. And before I forget, Happy Rudolph Day to all. We have really ran the "gauntlet" of special days this week, starting with Tom Turkey Day, now today we have Rudolph Day, and we close out this month with the first ever February Jack O Lantern Day.

Our next milestone will be on Thursday in the new month, when we reach the 200 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone.

Happy Sunday, Halloween Friends! The very first ever February edition of "Dark Arts Sundays" - here today! I have some cherry cider cooling down on the porch since it's only 40 degrees outside - there will be enough left for today and our first ever JOL Day on Tuesday.

With the addition of JOL Day on Tuesday, there will not be a March preview that day, instead I would like to do the February recap TODAY, and then tomorrow we can have our March preview. I always want JOL Days to be their own thing and not have to deal with "any other stuff" on those special days. Same thing I do with all the MMC special days.

For being such a short month, February saw us reach TONS of milestones, not just here for Fall / Halloween related, but across all of our special holidays:

Here is all of the things we achieved this month:

• 2/10 - 50 Day marker to Spooky Spring
• 2/13 - 200 Days to The Bers!
• 2/14 Valentine's Day and entering the 100's level count towards The Bers
• 2/20 - 200 Days to Spooky Season
• 2/23 - Tom Turkey Day #2
• 2/25 - Rudolph Day #2

The group "voting" / discussion that led to green-lighting The first ever February JOL Day and adding one to June as well!

Still to come: 300 Days to Christmas! - Coming on February 28th!

What did you think of February? I thought it was short and fun - just like always. I always feel annually that February is the month that I feel the "farthest" from Christmas and the rest of the "Big 3". We will get into March and my hopes and expectations tomorrow!

February has been good and the milestones do make me feel that we are working hard and achieving our goals!! LOL! It is a good feeling to have so many things to look forward to and to keep an eye on time marching on. March and May are my two longest months I am but I think having Spooky Spring in between will be a great addition!

I have honestly been so excited about it, that I've sort of had to "tame" the excitement because I didn't want anything to cut into Tom Turkey Day or Rudolph Day. But tomorrow is all about us in this thread.

We're standing on the doorstep of some milestones again now - The big one this week will obviously be the 200 Days to Halloween Season milestone, barreling towards us and due to arrive on Friday, March 3rd. But also on that day? Hitting the 30 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING marker. Folks that's a huge one. Well without further delay I would like to get into the March preview.

Here's what we have milestone wise coming up for March:

• 3/5 - 200 Days to October
• 3/11 - 50 Days to Halfoween
• 3/17 - Saint Patrick's Day
• 3/18 - 250 Days to Thanksgiving
• 3/20 - 1st Day of Spring

That's a jam packed list! And I think sort of in the "background" the entire time is knowing that March is what will take us into Spooky Spring. That's a lot to take in this morning. But it's exciting.

Movie Choice: "28 Days Later"

Good Morning Halloween Friends! We close out the month in style with the first ever Jack O Lantern Day in February. We are two days from another BIG milestone, and that one is reaching the 200 Days to Halloween Season milestone. But you know what happens before that? Tomorrow, as we welcome in March, we will be only ONE MONTH from Spooky Spring. Pretty soon it will be time to dust off those plastic Jack O Lantern's and find a few Halloween decorations to put up inside for our amazing, awesome, month-long Spooky Spring celebration. But that's a month from now. We have to enjoy and appreciate March. But I know we are all excited for what is coming.

My Tuesday Halloween Thought is really an easy one for today:

I'm so glad we decided to add a Jack O Lantern Day to February. I'm sure I will feel the same in June because ever since I started "doing" Jack O Lantern Days, I always felt like February and June got a little left out. It's easy today to imagine and capture the feel of October / Halloween. It's grey outside today with a high of 60 degrees. And later this evening I will watch some Halloween commercials / promos on youtube, before settling in for the evening's entertainment - which is "28 Days Later". I was inspired by @The_Escalation, and yes, this movie just makes sense to watch on February 28th.

Tuesday Halloween thought:

I'm really missing watching some horror movies now. I am trying to hold out for spooky spring. But since we have an extra JOL day today, I think I may watch a movie today.

There is nothing like Halloween season and watching Halloween specials and horror movies. Spooky Spring is a nice holdover until that time comes around again.
