Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Monday! I'm hoping for the week to go by at a good pace this week at work, we have a three day weekend coming up because of the state holiday next Monday. I'm not going to try and focus on it too much these first few days, but you can bet by Wednesday afternoon when I start feeling that "weekend magic" start rolling in, it will be on my mind!
Folks, today is not a milestone in the traditional sense. But if you are keeping track of the days until FALL PRE SEASON, today is indeed a milestone day. Just 50 Days to go!
On Wednesday of this week, we will enter into single digits on our way down to a HUNDRED DAYS to October. That 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone will be arriving our way on June 23rd, less than two weeks from now! So on Rudolph Day Eve this month, we will be greeted with the site of only ONE countdown remaining that are in triple digits. Remember, we started off with seven true countdowns in the triple digits, and now pretty soon we will just be down to ONE triple digit count.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Tuesday to you! Having Monday in the rear view mirror always feels like a little milestone day of its own. We are inching towards the three day weekend. With that knowledge in my mind, surprisingly yesterday did not go slow. I hope to keep the same momentum going today.
We're going to see our Bers count jump into the 70's tomorrow, as well as being in SINGLE DIGITS on our way down to the 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. That one sure seems like it's going fast.
My Tuesday Halloween thought this week is a simple one. I've been thinking about Bath & Body Works and how it always feels the "first" time that I go in the store and it's decorated for Halloween. It hits me right in the feels, even though every year I know roughly when to expect it. They are amazing with how they do it. You can go in there one day and see nothing, and the next day Halloween is exploding out of the boxes. Here's a picture from a few years ago:
So is there a store that gets you super excited for Halloween like Bath and Body works does for me?

I think we're going to see Halloween stuff start showing up in stores earlier than ever this year. As evidenced by Snake finding that "Box of Bones" mac and cheese, it's just a matter of time until others follow suit. It might be time to start checking CVS for their usual street-date breaking antics on the Halloween candy. This is called "Halloween Hunting" and it begins now!
I think we're going to see Halloween stuff start showing up in stores earlier than ever this year. I am so bummed. You know how I said I got the e-mail on the Halloween Expo and bought my tickets. Well, I went into my bank account this morning and I had been refunded the money so I went to the webpage and it no longer exists. Definitely a trick and not a treat.
Hey all, sorry I have not been on the last few days, we are on vacation in the Northeast. Currently in New Hampshire. However, tomorrow evening we are heading to Salem, MA! We are spending all day on Thursday there and will get to see all of the witchy sites! I will have plenty to report then!
Seeing Halloween stuff at Dollar General really gets me excited because it seems like everything rolls out very slowly so I have to keep checking back in!
That is very disappointing, seems like a fast turn around to cancel already.
Salem is so much fun! Have a great time.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy WEDNESDAY! Wednesday is a day that I always look forward to. The rough part of the week is now over, and It's okay to start thinking about that weekend magic. It starts rolling in this afternoon / evening. I really enjoyed sharing my picture yesterday of B&BW from a few Halloween Seasons ago. That's one of the places I want to visit this weekend to just see if there are any coming signs of Fall / Halloween in there. If I remember correctly from last year, I believe the regular Fall stuff came close to July, and the true Halloween things were late July / beginning of August. Soon!
You can see now that we are just nine days away from our next milestone, which will be the 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. That will indeed be quite a Friday celebration next week. After that we will be left with just ONE count that is still in triple digits.
It's also an exciting time of year as we approach the halfway to Christmas mark! More and more signs of "The Big Three" seem like they are approaching daily!

I think some of the fall stuff came out late afternoon on June 30th. Only a couple of weeks away.
Man, it would be a real treat to find Halloween stuff in time for this month's JOL Day. I know it's a stretch, though. Halloween Hunting, commence!
